Re: Why is the Kapara so overlooked ?
My guess is that pricing must be in for something too. It's 3D contoured and all, but in Europe it's around 280€. Even if some of us won't go towards chinese made knives, at this price range the propositions from the competitions have even more premium materials and blade steels (even if blade steel...

Re: Native 5 Salt Yellow FRN MagnaCut HRC?
As far as I can tell we only have HRC for the Mules since several people tested them back then. Spyderco never announced any HRC range so we would need someone to test them.
One thing : I can feel a difference in sharpening the Mules and the N5 MagnaCut

Re: Spymyto is hot!
The huge gap between the lock bar and the scale really bothers me for some reason. The Drunken and a few other models also have a wide gap, as does the Lionsteel Myto. I don’t understand the purpose of cutting them like that, especially when I’ve seen other models from Spyderco and other manufactur...

Re: Spymyto is hot!
Since the Myto is hollow my guess is that lionSTEEL tried to do hollow on M398 and saw that it was too brittle or too expensive to grind and changed to flat. Still interested in receiving mine when they hit Europe to see how it cuts ! Expensive? Maybe. Brittle? Definitely not. I'm sure spyderco wou...

Re: The XHP knives.
I've had to restrain from buying the Foundry for 2 years now. I know I'm gonna drop the ball and buy it one day :( Skywalker Wonderful idea on the bolsters ! Mine takes micro scratching just by looking at it, this mat look is excellent. I love XHP (when treated by Spyderco). When it comes to "n...

Re: Still wishing for a Chaparral XL / Endela "thin edition" / or something along that lines
I reiterate but I'm totally here for any Chaparral size variation, especially if we go towards bigger ! I wouldn't be much interested in the Endela. I loved the SE blade but I really have trouble with how much lock rock I get from factory on this family of knives. I must be unlucky but out of 4 Del/...

Re: CBBL vertical blade-play/lock-rock
Since you already disassembled it once, I would do it again and work on the 4 body screws that hold the lock. I noticed that if I don't do it in the same sequence everytime, there's sometimes a bit of movement of the parts when I squeeze everything down and in my experience in can induce some lockst...

Could not let this opportunity pass by me. Fluted TI Military acquirred ! Blade is warped but it's in excellent shape. I wonder if an older pre-stepped pivot Military could be a candidate for a blade swap. I think this is gonna be a mission of mine for the upcoming year ! https://i.imgur.com/Ht4eZG...

Re: A Gayle Bradley 2 in Cruwear!
Wow, those blue sycamore scales look amazing! I bet they look even more so in person. It also looks like BHQ sold out their GB2 Cruwear exclusives today, as they should have for the great price they were offering. Thanks, now I know I need to write sycamore when speaking about it in english ! Findi...
