Re: A Gayle Bradley 2 in Cruwear!
Wow, those blue sycamore scales look amazing! I bet they look even more so in person. It also looks like BHQ sold out their GB2 Cruwear exclusives today, as they should have for the great price they were offering. Thanks, now I know I need to write sycamore when speaking about it in english ! Findi...

Re: Fairly comprehensive list of Spyderos in movies, tv shows, etc
Looks like an AI rendered movie !
Nothing seems real in this, isn't it a simple 3D rendering of a folding knife someone (or something) made on his computer ?

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
Thanks friends ! I wanted to show something different than a simple insolite shot or my work.
I don’t put much effort, I spend too much time working and then working during my free time to see the outdoors !
I promised myself no more orders during thz next holidays

Re: Tax day MAP sale!
I can't bring myself to use freight forward services yet (so couldn't use knifejoy or other dealers with very good deals), but a friend and I got a Manix 2 LW in M4 coming our way !

Re: A Gayle Bradley 2 in Cruwear!
I forgot to add a pic of my Cruwear GB2 wearing some SDK OD green Micarta scales. I couldn’t recommend this knife any more highly, it’s fantastic. SDK is also running a Tax Day sale today and he still has a few nice sets of GB2 scales left, and if the ones you want are sold out, it would probably b...

Ahah, even us europeans are getting some value here. The standard production items are not that interesting once shipping and customs are accounted for but exclusives are nice. Me and a friend just scored a Manix 2 LW in M4 and it will end up at a total cost of 170 or 180 USD for each of us.

Re: A Gayle Bradley 2 in Cruwear!
I'm gonna make an exception and buy a knife in the USa today. Can't tell if I go for a second Cruwear GB2 or the Manix 2 LW in M4 (Or the Damas/Pakkawood Endura, to customzie the scales with some crazy carbon fiber)

Re: Is this the knife everyone clamors for?
Oh, never thought about bending a factory spring. Might be fun to try out. Always thought I had to make my own replacement If needed ! Interesting that you chaps want stronger springs. On all of my Spyderco back locks, I've bent the springs to provide less tension. We all have are own ideas about w...

Re: Is this the knife everyone clamors for?
I was gonna say that I feel like my Backlock Manix 2 feels a bit soft spring-wise. Still love it ! @cjk saw what you did there :winking-tongue Mine was soft too. I took it apart and bent the spring a bit more. It now snaps shut just like it wanted to a 3.5 inch Native. 😁 Oops, I did it again. 🤣😜 Oh...

Re: Building a Custom Knife for Sal: CPM S60V
I know the price of most PM steels in Europe and they're not cheap, especially CPM in low quantity (Bohler is closer so that's normal). I still felt like the cost was high for one knife but then I saw the size of the knife, understandable. :squinting-tongue Yes, it's funny because a lot of us start...

Re: Mule Suggestion: Vanadis 8
I'd love the opportunity to try this steel, even Vanadis 4E. I've seen it used a lot by some europeans brands but I don't buy their products (no symbolism in this, I just don't). And the other brand I've seen using it is Bradford and the designs don't talk to me much, even if they're really good and...

My LG Inkosi can't really leave my pocket, even if the Bowie arrived. I made a little bit thicker inlays and the new "hammer grip" makes it so that I can't let go of the knife at all ! Can't wait to expriment more with inlays

Re: Any word on the Salsa?
I did not care much for the compression lock of my Salsa, it had pivot play and vertical play when the blade was locked. But I'm pretty sure these things would not happen on a new one. I'd love to see it in something like Cruwear, K390 or even one of the very hard japanese steels, with according col...
