Damasteel is very expensive. If you order a custom Bugout you get a $200 charge for picking Damasteel over s30v. I personally like the ivory G10 that comes with this knife.

Also check the swedge. One side is closer to the tip than the other side on mine.

I agree, hollow or flat grind doesn’t really matter much to me for a blade this size. I will be using mine mainly to open bag of chips and cut clothing tags.

Got mine today and I like it. Great ergonomics especially for a small knife, better than my lil native. And it’s definitely cool and weird! Only 3 left!

Just checked my KJ Spydiechef, lock up looks about the same and there is some vertical play like yours if I hold close to the tip and I look for it. Wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. No complaints on my lil native. It is now my favorite small knife to carry. I like the feel of peel ply cf.
