Customer for life

I ordered a Sharpmaker as a Christmas present for my son and it was the 1st time going through the OpFocus program. The package came last week and Spyderco included another VERY generous item along with it. They certainly didn’t have to do that and it just reinforces what a great company Sal and Eri...

Re: I Like Cats

The Cat was my first venture into the Spyderco world and still love the little thing! Just a great 5th pocket fit and the BD1N holds up very well for my use.

Being from Maryland, I've been a PRS player for a long time, and I've been to the factory numerous times too. Currently have a core Hollowbody w/spruce top and a Korean SE EG to scratch that Strat itch. Play thru a Quilter 101R amp and a 1x12 cabinet. https://i.imgur.com/1AGQF5M.jpg https://i.imgur....

The knife that has stopped me from buying 3" bladed knives is the Delica. It is perfect. It has a handle large enough to suit my hand and none of this blade to handle ratio nonsense.
Pretty much agree with this too!

Just installed a Lynch clip on my Delica and it really does disappear in the old pocket!

ISO Spyderco box

I bought my son a Native 5LW 2nd for Christmas and they don't come with a box. Anyone have one that they're not planning on keeping?

Thanks, Jim

Re: Grandpa’s Knives

So great that you have such great pieces of your family history! Likewise, I treasure having both my Dad's and his brother's KaBars and hope that my son will also appreciate them too. You can guess which one was owned by my Dad, the Jarhead and the other his brother, a pilot in the US Army Air Corp...

ImageI admit that I have not handled very many Spydercos but I recently got a Sage 5 LW and I freakin' love this thing! It's ergos fit me great and it is razor sharp and very fun to play with too.

Cat vs. Sage 5 LW

The Cat was my 1st Spyderco and I just got the Sage 5 LW (thanks Adam H.) and thought folks might like to see a side-by- side comparison. The Cat is a super 5th pocket carry but the Sage is off the charts for it's compression action. It will get a fair amount of carry now! https://i.imgur.com/TqUmfP...
