Added this to my stash. I think it will make a very good beater knife.

Not just today but for the past several months, Spyderco Manix 2 Cruewear.

I do think I've found it's limitations.

Some of the uses over the last month or so with my Manix 2 Cruewear.

Something tried to barge in on our work today...didn't end well for it!!

My Manix 2 Cruwear made short work of this Pygmy Rattlesnake!!!

Just another hot and humid workday but we got it done!!

Removing a vanity mirror and had to cut through latex caulk, someone thought was necessary, between the edge of the mirror and wall.

The Manix2 Cruwear made short work of it.

Got it back from warranty. Not sure what they did, but it looks like they tightened the crap out of the screw. The micarta is indented around it, which is fine. Somehow the action is nice and loose. When I tightened the heck out of it before, the action was way stiff. Don’t know what they did ...

Also disagree on the "cheap" plastic grips thing... yes, technically they ARE cheaper as soon as the expensive FRCP molds are made and enough knives get sold to ammortize their cost and they ...

Manix2's with Cruwear and M390...both with g10 grips and steel liners.

I not a fan of the cheap FRN plastic grips.....think it's called something else on the Manix.

All my Spyderco knives get this straight out of the box....I don't like loose parts or screws.
