Re: OpFocus Oversight

I'm a board certified janitorial technician, and it is my sworn duty to protect the public from fomite transmission of viruses and other harmful microorganisms. While I'm not a first responder or frontline medical professional, I'm pretty close, and $200 folding knives are essential to my public ser...

Re: Is MAP pricing % changing come 2022?

There will still be a magical surge in demand following the price increase, as there has for the past 5-6 years. Y'all have revealed yourselves to be all talk and no action.

Re: Speculative 2022 Discontinued List Discussion Thread

Technically the price drops aren't supposed to happen until January, right? The header on that list reading "Effective January 1, 2022, MAP pricing no longer applicable on THESE items" seems to indicate that the some dealers may wait until that time to offer the discounts. Who knows...? I...

Re: spydiechef issue

Yes this is a widespread issue on several Taichung knives. I've even seen it happen with Delicas. I think it's why the Caribbean has been delayed for so long now.

Did your item have to go through customs? Sometimes lazy inspectors leave out packaging after they rummage through it.

MAP pricing must allow dealers to make a great profit if DACK is able to sell for those prices and still make profit.
Most drop shippers like them are happy making $1-2 per sale. Not bad profit for clicking a button.

Re: Is the Delica named after a van?

I think the name was heavily influenced by the Mitsubishi van. It would have been a very popular van in Japan around the time Sal was developing the Delica and building relationships with the Japanese makers.
