Re: For ladybug93

Manixguy@1994 I think it’s pretty cool for you to post a picture for a specific forum member. Re: Native Chief CTS-XHP on the fence

You will love it. I’ve been very impressed with XHP. I have the Chief with DLC blade and orange scales. For me, the XHP performs better than I had expected. I clipped a T-post with mine while cutting twine out of our tomato rows this year. I hit the edge pretty hard. Hard enough that I just cringed....

Spy27 Manix 2 and S30vn Delica arrived early. His and hers black Friday pre-Christmas presents.
Very cool. It’s always nice when the other half enjoys the same hobby.

Re: We need more Millie’s

If Spyderco decides to produce a Military blade with compression lock, micarta with full liners, please call it Para XL. Fidget fan s will rejoice and power snap it open constantly. I will not be interested in purchase of this design. Regards, FK 😂 Looks like my brother just got a new nickname.

Re: We need more Millie’s

I don’t think it makes sense to blame the Millie enthusiasts for not buying enough of them. I have a feeling the Millie (on average) appeals more to users and the PM2 (again, on average) appeals more to collectors and coach fidgeters. That’s going to affect the numbers. I generally lean towards sma...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Thanks, I’m happy to help. I can say the same for you and many others on here. The Chief is great (I’m up to three versions myself). I like to swap out models quite a bit but once a Chief makes it in, it has a way of staying for a while. To tempt you more you can get a GB2 from OpticsPlanet for $15...

Re: We need more Millie’s

It’s easy to understand their reluctance to make more when you consider how slow Military sprints and exclusives actually sell. We see so many people go on about how much they love the Military Model and how they want more but then when it happens “I don’t like [blank], I’ll just wait for the next ...

Re: We need more Millie’s

I couldn’t find one anywhere, been looking pretty hard, I had to resort to eBay :( Did end up with a S30V DLC G10, but I’d prefer to buy from a dealer. I ran into the same thing recently while looking for a Military for a buddy of mine. I checked locally and looked at all of the major online dealer...

Re: We need more Millie’s

Sal, can you please please please tell us if we will see a new military in 2022?! It would make my day if Sal joined in on this thread and this question! I realize he can’t possibly engage himself in every thread but it seems like we’ve had a few threads asking this same question. I’m sure a Milita...

Re: We need more Millie’s

I’d have a fleet of Millies if they weren’t liner locks. I keep hoping this whole Millie2 comp lock idea gets some traction, but for now I’ll stick with my Native Chiefs and Police 4s. I have to ask; have you ever tried one? I was skeptical at first, just because I’ve tried liner locks from a coupl...

Re: We need more Millie’s

Welcome, Jon! I’m with you. I would love to see more Millies in more steels. Even the standard, S30V model is hard to find right now. With a lot of dealers doing a “Teaser” for their upcoming exclusives, I always find myself hoping it’s a Military in an upgraded steel. K390, 10V, 4V, Spy 27, LC200N,...

Re: New to K390. Initial impressions=Impressed. blood warning.

Nice addition you got there. I’ve been very happy with the Seki City models I’ve gotten. K390 is some amazing stuff. I have 3 Spydercos in K390 and I would love to get more. I’ve been very impressed with how it sharpens and it holds an edge very well in my experience. Hoping to see it in more models...

ARK and Chief today.

The Chief did an awesome job slicing up the last jalapeños of the season.

Re: Swayback swoon and top flipper dreams

My knives are used for their intended purpose, cutting things. Knives are cutting tools, not fidget toys. Flippers are stupid. Just because a flipper tab isn’t YOUR preferred opening method doesn’t mean they’re stupid. There are a lot of companies that make them and a lot of people who enjoy them.
