My arc follows yours pretty closely NCC, but I haven't yet sprung for it in K390. I feel like I've got enough K390 for now, but I love the Jumper platform and hope we see a Salt or a Cru-wear sprint soon.
Leaf Jumper Salt in Magnacut would pretty much do me in. I'd have seen it all.

Re: LeafJumper

https://i.postimg.cc/c44RTGkD/IMG-9386.jpg Mine came in today. In the pursuit of perfection, this creeps ever so close to the one EDC to rule them all for me. I never expected the Jumper design to slowly become my favorite knife, but it has. I got the wharnie Rock Jumper on a whim. Liked it enough ...

Re: LeafJumper

After carrying it for some time now, Leafjumper gets top billing in my edc rotation. While my Leafjumper is plain edge, my Rock Jumper is serrated. I would have to say Rock goes with me into the yard and the wild to make quick and dirty cuts. The Leaf goes with me into civilization. I would love to ...

Re: LeafJumper

As I examine this Leaf Jumper more, I’m inclined to believe the leaf blade is the original design. The flowing lines of the scales and blade remind me of the multiple flowing lines of a sports car. The straight wharnie blade of the Rock Jumper just looks to be at odds with the flowing “jumper” handl...

Re: LeafJumper

Magnacut Leaf Jumper leads to Salt Leaf Jumper, in which Salts tend to be thicker linerless scales. Linerless is fine, but I don’t prefer thicker scales. Regardless, I enjoy pushing the VG-10 for this version to better gauge the design qualities. K390 seems to be the go-to upgrade. I can realistical...

It’s got a lot of the best qualities of the Chaparral, thin blade, thin scales, leaf edge; but it’s ju...

Re: 2022 P.I.T.S Sprint!

I’ve had it in-hand and pocket for the past two days. Feels like it fills a high-end Para 3 sized knife with a super steel. Where the novelty of flicking a knife wears off and you just want something solid durable and light. The slip joint is stronger than need for anything a knife this size tackles...

It's been a while. This page has missed out on a few releases. Just a bump to help keep up with the releases. This was one of my favorite threads.

I bevel ground the G10 scales to provide a better pinch grip on my Magnacut Mule.

Re: Sage 5 LW

Sage 5 LW is one of my absolute favorites. Sage 5 LW and Para 3 LW are very similar. I would say the Sage 5 feels better than Para 3 choked up. And Para 3 feels better than Sage 5 unchoked. Para 3 is lighter, being liner less. But Sage 5 feels less “cheap” with nested liners; feels like a quality kn...

Re: K390 Stretch 2: Manix 2 LW killer?

First impression - I. Love. This. Knife. I was hesitant to pull the trigger bc I already have the K390 PM2 but I'm happy I did. The thinner blade stock is also thinner BTE and slices like crazy. There is zero blade play in any direction and the action is very smooth and solid. Blade centering and l...

Re: Benchmade Bugout Omega Spring Failure

I recently got my first Manix 2 LW in Spy27. I have to say it’s one of the sharpest right out of the box, second only to my PM2 Rex45. I have to say the caged ball bearing lock is pretty sweet in its own right. Better durability and reliability for sure. The opening action is superior to the axis lo...

Re: PM2 Tanto Copper scale swap

I like how it looks and the incorporation of the Japanese coin in the lanyard is a cool touch. It will look great as you use it and develop a patina on the handle. Definitely too heavy for me to carry often, though it would be great with heavy winter clothing. Especially with a patina...full-grain ...

PM2 Tanto Copper scale swap

Here is my PM2 Tanto blade with the liner-less copper scales. I braided the lanyard incorporating a Japanese coin. This is one heavy knife coming in at 8 ounces. I call it Kaiju.
