Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
I used my Caribbean to trim a few thorny vines on my berry bushes.

Re: Magnetic blade??
IMG_1722-compressed.jpeg IMG_1721-compressed.jpeg I just stumbled on this thread after noticing that paper clips kept sticking to my Magnacut native closer to the pivot . I was not able to replicate the magnetism with Lc200n or s30v. I wonder if others had this experience with their Magnacut blades.

Re: Vote: Kick? Choil? Forward? Other?
… The stats tell me that I prefer choils, I'm not totally convinced by the numbers because I know that I like a good forward design as well. And I don't mind a kick. Or other, even.. yeah, it's hard sometimes. I can't deny the fact that my favorite knives have choils, so my vote will have to reflec...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I still cannot stop carrying the Caribbean. What an absolute powerhouse of a knife
Look at it next to the shaman yet it’s lighter than both the shaman and Manix 2. It really makes me excited to see how that milled g10 performs on the PM2 salt!- Sat Jan 27, 2024 2:15 pm

Re: Why Do Seki Models Have Lock Rock??!!
Because rock and roll. The knives are made to rock and the steel won’t chip but roll.

Re: What does “ergonomic” mean to you?
It is about intuitive design and accessibility . For me it means that it feels naturally comfortable and secure in hand. I do not want to think about how I am holding the knife when I need to use it. I want a knife that feels like part of my hand. I should not even have to look at it to get a proper...

Re: Delica 4 in 2024?
They really are excellent edcs. I really should carry and use my delicas more often. The wharncliff Delica is an incredible little cutter. The plain edge Delica 4 is one of the nicest designs from spyderco. I love the curved handle. It makes for a better grip while not taking up much pocket space.

Re: Favorite Spydercos You Got in 2023 - In Your Pocket in '24
It’s hard to remember which spyderco knives I picked up in 2023…. : - my cruwear Endela got some carried quite a bit this year. - Magnacut native 5 - my travel knife - sage 5- a great knife and design. a perfect EDC design - mule team 2 (spy27) used my mule 2 quite a bit this year. I cut up roots, v...

Re: 2023 - Did your preferences change or stay the same?
I’d probably say that it has not changed but that would be a lie. I still love 3 inch folders like the Native 5 and Sage however when looking at my purchases in 2023 and my recently carried knives over the last few months it looks like I may be gravitating toward larger folders like the shaman, pac ...

300 grit edge. Not pretty but it'll cut more like I'm used to. https://i.postimg.cc/Xv53Z1Zc/20231229-231209.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/VkpmkPNk/20231229-231232.jpg The hollow grind on that blade shape makes for a very attractive design. Re: Native Chief Lightweight!!!
While my Chief is not LW, this is a comparison I can make of similar sized knives to those mentioned: Chief, Stretch 2 XL, Endura, Caribbean, PM2 https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53375131985_89c3a6456c_c.jpg Thank you. The chief blade is not as tall as I imagined it to be and that’s a good thing...

It really is a great knife. I’ve been favoring it over the pm2 latelyHaunted House wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2023 8:15 pmCruwear Endela. I carry it every day, all my other knives have been collecting dust since the day I got it.
It really is the Goldilocks knife, imo.

Re: What knife do you actually carry and use the most?
My older pm2 and Manix 2 are probably used and carried most. They have scars from experiments/learning new skills in sharpening, poor cutting choices and several drops off of my roof. The scratches and dings make me less hesitant to actually use them over my newer knives. They are also perfect for a...
