Thinking that perhaps the way to go would be to leave the blade alone as to keep a working sage 1, and grind the frame of my old sage 2 in the frame lock area to fit the sage 1 blade?

Thanks to all for the replies. I'm curious if there are custom scale options for the sage 1? I'll keep a lookout for a second hand sage 2, I really love the knife.
