Fun year and date!
I was working as a bartender on Mallorca, Spain. Was a pretty crazy time to be sure. I was 23 at the time.

Re: New Shaman clip from Lynch Northwest
Somehow, I think the Benchmade clip from Casey, which incidentally also fits the Shaman, looks much better than this Shaman-specific clip. I'll stick with MXG though, it looks sleeker and has a better clip grip in the pocket. I had no idea the Benchmade clip fit on the Shaman. I did look at the MXG...

Re: New Shaman clip from Lynch Northwest
So, which finish will match the CS Shaman and the Micarta Z? Stonewashed? Satin to match the blade is probably the most stylish but I went for the bronze for my zwear shaman. For the CS shaman I would go for stonewashed or black cerakote (not available right now). FYI, spoke to Casey, the cerakote ...

Re: Knife lubricant
I’m using 10w nano oil and it does what it’s supposed to do. Seems to keep the pivot lubed a long time.
Lots of people mention the price a lot. I mean I have spent perhaps 2-4% of my oil in about 6 months. Unless i start a business oiling knives I doubt I’ll empty it in the coming 10 years or so.

Re: New Shaman clip from Lynch Northwest
Wire clip on a Shaman?? That seems very out of place. It's not a wire clip. He said wire clip in his post, so that's what I was thinking. Terrible idea for such a beefy knife. I think it would look awful...like when people put low profile tires on a pickup truck, it doesn't fit! Glad it's not an ac...

Re: New Shaman clip from Lynch Northwest
I ordered one in Stonewash for my Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive. I was gonna take a chance and order "Industrial" or "Industrial Flame", didn't know what it looked like. Nice, i got the anodized bronze for my Zcarta Shaman. I think it will look awesome. There are some pictures of the...

New Shaman clip from Lynch Northwest
Many people here probably know this but Lynch just released a new pocket clip for the Shaman. It looks really good with a very deep carry. Ordered one straight away, there was also some black ceracote wire clips available, they are usually out of stock.

Re: Post Your Native Series Knife Mods and Inspire Others
Those scales look great! I'm going to have to see if he does scales for the Chief. Yeah, I love them. He makes them a wee bit thicker, 4 mm instead of the original G10 that seems to be 3,5 mm. Sounds negligible, but it give room for contouring and not as fragile as some micarta. Unsure if I have se...

Very generous of you, I’m in!
I think my Zwear Shaman tops the list but the Lil Native comes close too, depends on the occasion I guess.

Re: What's your favorite large Spyderco folder?
Only model on the list I own is the Shaman. So I guess that's my choice Same goes for me. Im a small knife guy, restricted by law. Wanted one big strurdy knife, it fell on the Shaman when I found one in Z-wear. Perhaps I would have chosen another if I tried them all. But on paper the Shaman was the...

Carrying my Nerd, it has become my go to when I’m not doing anything special.
Actually noticed my own picture of my Nerd on TRMs website today. Made me very happy.

Ordered a TRM Neutron 2 yesterday from a small "surprise" release. Got me a Nerd a while back and I wasn't that impressed with it, but it has grown on me a lot lately. I just need to know when to wear it and when to get a real knife... They have the most amazing customer service. Got a cra...

Re: What’s your best made Spydie?
The z-wear Shaman was the most beautifully finished production knife I can ever recall handling. I could find no flaw. Perfectly smooth action, zero play, no lock stick etc. Shame the model didn't work as well for me as others, because they knocked it out of the park with the fit and finish. This i...

The Lil Native Slipit should be legal (and pretty cool), but I don't know exactly when it will be avaliable.
