Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman

Mine arrived today. It's a really nice knife! My first all micarta handled pocket knife. It does have a lot of side to side play, but perfectly centered. Looking forward to trying this out.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

Thank you sir! It's definitely a keeper! Just one more question TJ, please. Do you like the Magpul stock that much over the original Monte Carlo stock? I'm thinking that Magpul is really nice... I didn't spend enough time with the Monte Carlo stock to develop a fair opinion. I can say that the Magp...

I also used the free 2 day ship with UPS. I never got an email about shipping. However logging into my account at BladeHQ it showed as shipped same day as ordered, with info and number. UPS says it delivers tomorrow!
Same here. Didn't get a shipping notification until this afternoon.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

It's an excellent weapon. I put the final touch on mine this afternoon with a Surefire Scout Pro and tape switch. I have the Magpul stock, forend, and Aimpoint red dot mounted on an Aridus Industries Crom. I also have a side saddle from Aridus. Check those guys out. They have great stuff to take you...

All of my Seki's have been perfect except for my Pac Salt. That one was very disappointing out of the box.

If the DLT Tuff had been left handed, it would have been perfect.

Thanks for all the input. I did know that it'd BD1N. Just a typo that I didn't include the N.

Spyderco Kitchen knives

I'm looking for opinions on the kitchen knives featured in the last byte. I was considering a Myabi but these Spyderco's look interesting. How does CTSBD1 hold up in kitchen use? Is it comparable to top tier Japanese steels? I think the Miyabi uses the equivalent of ZPD189. Any input is appreciated!

Aero had a March madness sale, and I've been wanting to ditch the forward assist (as Daddy Stoner intended) and I couldn't pass up $60 for a new upper receiver. Swapped everything over and she works great! H2 buffer smooths out the recoil (ca...

Re: Pm2 lefty.

FYI, I recently ordered a lefty PM2 and it is S30V. I’m assuming it’s new stock because it was sold out and then I purchased as soon as I got the email saying it was available again. I’m totally good with S30V, just wanted to mention this in case you’re set on S45.

Re: What has become of Bladeforums?

I scroll through the new posts everyday and I’ll check out most any topic that interests me. Usually other knife brands that I like. I forget that the off topic section here is so vast. I guess I frequent it more than I realize.

Re: What has become of Bladeforums?

Well that stinks of people come here, from there and avoid off topic because of that. Some of the most fun stuff going on on this forum takes place in the off topic section! Honestly, I rarely even frequent the off topic section here. I like to talk knives on this forum. Sometimes guns. I have very...

Re: What has become of Bladeforums?

I never had a problem on Blade Forums. To me, it’s like a big city. Stay out of certain neighborhoods if you don’t want trouble. I stick to the main knife discussion boards and stay out of anything off topic. I’ve actually found most members to be pretty friendly and respectful.

Does anyone here find the spring to be a little tougher to depress? I’m not sure if it’s the knife or me.
