Mercator stainless 1.4034
The other day I lost my Mercator in the river while eeling and now looking for a replacement as it was an awesome outdoors knife. The original had a carbon steel blade(unknown exactly what type of steel) but I noticed there is a stainless model available, that being 1.4034 stainless steel which I've...

Re: Dragonfly pivot screw
I havent seen or heard of any DF pivot screws with slightly bigger heads,, I can see what you mean by the little gap around the screw head. I notice on the other side with the dome there is this little washer, if you could get another one of those you could probably slip it in to make it look a bit ...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Pretty boring to some but I bought my first Glock ever. In my state, Glocks are off limits to civilians. Always wanted to check one out, so the day I graduated from the academy I went to shop and used my credentials on a new Blue label G19.5! A week later I had to go back to buy the G45 sitting in ...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought

Re: brake cleaner(non chlorinated) safe on FRN?
I ended up disassembling the knife and cleaning the parts with isopropyl alcohol, the disassemble and reassemble was a lot easier than i thought it would be.
Cheers all for the replys, helpful to have other peoples opinions :)

Re: brake cleaner(non chlorinated) safe on FRN?
You can also use BC "Synthetic Safe" Gun Scrubber -- which is predominantly canned/pressurized alcohol -- to blast out the gunk. I've used it on a lot of pistol frames, knives, etc. over the years. Here's the MSDS: https://www.birchwoodcasey.com/content/datasheets/Gun%20Scrubber%20Aerosol...

Re: *Shipping to Australia & New Zealand Suspended*
Shipping almost anything to NZ has been expensive enough, And I have been finding most things to do with "tactical" knives, hunting knives, also stuff like rifle scopes and optics, and other parts require import permit. Seems like anything to do with "weapons". Some of these thin...
