Nope. I've acid etched both a Mantra 3 and a Native 5.

If I get a satin blade, it almost immediately gets acid etched, and maybe stone washed.

I love 14C28N. Good toughness, and edge retention, while being easy to sharpen. If the heat treat is done right, it's a fantastic steel. And I know Spyderco has heat treating down.

One of if not the best locks out there. I'll take this over the compression lock any day. No matter what grip I use I don't notice the shark lock. I sold my Mantra 3 for this. I love the lock. I only use the shark lock to open it, gravity style. The AUS10A is not bad, especially for daily EDC tasks...

I use a Parker Shavette. Granted, I dont shave my face, I have a long beard, but I use it to like up my cheeks, clean up my neck, and line up my hairline after coming back from the barber.

You need to be careful, tho. It is a razor blade.
