Re: 2021 Quality Control?
I have bought three 2021 built models so far - a Para3, Kapara and SpydieChef. They were inspected to the smallest detail and found to be nearly flawless. Very happy with all of them! I have to say the Para3 surprised me in build quality.

I tend to avoid using glued-on parts on my tools.

Re: Up for sale on eBay - Spyderco Resilience from Bear Attack last week - $5900
From my admittedly limited experience with situations/events like these, the people who were genuine victims will very seldom want to profit or benefit from the experience in any way whatsoever afterwards. But alas, we live in strange times.

Re: is this military fake?
Welcome to the forum! Is it just me or is the blade profile also slightly off? The Military has a little more belly compared to this blade, unless the angle of the photo is misleading me.

https://i.imgur.com/cmu4fah.jpg This is beautiful! It’s probably from before my time in the knife sphere, but what model is it? I like the look of your edge too-it looks mean! Thank you very much! This model is the Hanan from Brad Southard and if I recall correctly it was available around 2017 - 20...

Re: Where is the PM2's for sale on the website?
I haven't seen lots in stock myself. I think it is unfortunately the same old answer of Co-vid and supply of raw materials, factory space etc. They are also switching over to S45VN for the blade steel as far as I have read, and that might be another reason for the delay.

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!
All that to say, you're spot on. It's a huge financial risk for a single retailer to commission an exclusive, and that risk gets even bigger with higher prices models. KJ doing 600+ SBs that they have to sell all of is a different category of risk than MGE wholesale paying for a run of 1200+ teal S...

For better or worse, this knife seems to certainly force to light those character traits most usually choose to hide.

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!
As an international Spydie lover myself I completely understand the frustration with models like these which are so popular. They are almost impossible to come by for us because we need to compete with all the US buyers also who are most of the time local (in terms of country) to the store selling t...

Don't forget the Mantra2, mine has really grown on me despite my preference for large knives as my EDC. It is a superbly designed knife and the M4 performs very well. I love it! My favorite EDC. 3.2" M4 cutting edge packed in a Ti framelock with no limiting hand positioning hump in a Delica st...

Re: Benchmade Bugout Omega Spring Failure
I can chime in here and relate my experience - I have had it happen on a Mini-Griptilian and full size Bugout. Never on the 950 Rift I carried for around 2 years. By looking at the design I believe the lock to be immensely strong and well-designed, however the method the lock relies on to engage is ...
