Anyone know if it’s normal to have the Seki City Japan engraving so close to the pivot?

This is a used VG-10 model procured from a certain online auction site. All of my other Delica examples are sprints or wharnies with the engraving much closer to the plunge grind.

Dragonfly 2 Wharncliffe in K390. Ultra-light, great ergos, edge shape gives it scalpel-like precision with cuts, and the steel holds an edge forever. Patina on the blade is an added bonus.

It lists oxalic and citric acids and warns on the label that it can etch surfaces. Nasty stuff.


On the contrary these ingredients are both found in a variety of edible fruits and vegetables and are safe for human consumption in small quantities.

Yes, absolutely. I live in a jurisdiction with a 2.5” limit so most of what I own is not legal for street carry.

For around the house use I gravitate toward 3”-4” blades like

Local laws being as they are I end up leaving the house with
