Re: MT30P - Mule Team Featuring Z-Wear PM - Release Date

Finally got one! Thought about trying for two so the boys would have one but decided to stick to one so as to leave one for others. Excited to finally have one coming.

My car broke down. The mechanic said - crap in the carburetor. I said - how often do I have to do that?
So did that fix it? Been having some idle problems. Be nice if that would save me a trip to the garage.

Re: MT31P - Mule Team Featuring CPM S45VN - Release Date

Sorry 'bout tho those that didn't get one. We are trying to figure out way to avoid this situation. We appreciate your kind understanding and patience. sal I don’t think it’s something to apologize for. I understand people are upset they missed out, and I admit I’m one of them, however I also think...

Re: MT31P - Mule Team Featuring CPM S45VN - Release Date

Bummer. Took an early break to get in on this. Got over to my phone at 0955. Still showed "coming soon." Refresh refresh refresh. 0959 it shows out of stock. 1000 changes to in stock. Add to cart. Wait. Server timeout. Try again. 1001 get a call for backup in one of the units. Run down and...

Mule
Team
Recruits ??

Personally, being drawn to donkeys and mules in the equine world, I'm fond of Muleskinners, or just Skinners. Seems fitting in a couple different ways.

Re: Wood for scales

I’ve been trying to do more reading about tamarack as I’m almost positive that’s what it is. It seems that it’s a great wood for use in wet conditions. I know as I was cutting it it has an almost waxy texture to it. I think the only thing to do is try it. Perhaps one of my next days off I’ll try to ...

Re: Wood for scales

Thanks guys. I think worst case I make them, they look horrible, don’t last and then I take them off.

Thinking about it in the mean time, if there’s someone that knows what they’re doing and had an interest, I might be willing to throw a chunk in the mail if someone wanted to try it out.

Wood for scales

Hi all. I'm pretty new here. I was attracted to Spyderco because of the recent mule buzz. Had two in my cart, went to hit checkout, and felt guilty due to the demand from true Spyderco fans. Felt like I was taking from those that deserve it more. ANyway, didn't go through with the order and greatly ...

Re: First Spyderco - S30v or SPY27?

I'm pretty happy with my choice now that I've made it. Just too many options leading up to it. The SPY27 over S30v was an easier decision than model. Figure if I'm going to go Spyderco, might as well try their proprietary steel. I almost bought the SPY27 mule. Had it in my cart ready to checkout, ju...

Re: First Spyderco - S30v or SPY27?

After a lot of back and forth I went with my gut and ordered the Native 5 in SPY27. Who would think selecting the right knife could cause such angst? Yesterday afternoon I was ready to order but then had to work through all the options again. Had the Para 3 in my cart for awhile. The Manix made a br...

Re: First Spyderco - S30v or SPY27?

Debated it all day as I have been doing. Decided I liked the blue so settled on SPY27 but then started kicking around the Para 3 and the Manix. Finally decided to just jump and went with my gut and got the Native 5. The biggest draw to the others was fidget-ability and aesthetics some, but I think (...

First Spyderco - S30v or SPY27?

Hi all. Been Lurking for quite awhile. Signed up and still lurking. Looking at my first "good" knife. Narrowed it down to a Benchmade Griptillian or Spyderco Native 5. Leaning towards the Spyderco and today I see the Native 5 in SPY27 is back in stock on their website. I'm still learning s...
