I think Spyderco nailed this. The non-locals were bemoaning the fact that they couldn’t be in town for the Seconds Sale, and no ‘online Seconds Sale’ but in years past Spyderco does an online Seconds Sale and it crashes the website and people bemoan that, so then this year they do the Mystery ...

I noticed the Endura mainly comes in FFG to include the CE thin line series.

Why does the black CE and SE only come in Saber grind with no FFG option other than the discontinued thin line series? Is it just "old stock" and everything is just moving to FFG or is there a reason for that grind?

They are all seconds and have notches. I am a bit tempted but feel like I would end up with a kitchen knife, Byrd and a size small t-shirt. haha

Side note, I may have gotten a sneak peak, but they had only 4 seconds knives ...

In my experience there are mostly two kinds of "pocket destroying", one more on the rim of the pocket from frequently getting the knife in and out of the pocket, the second (more on thin garment, wide pockets where the knife has a lot of room to "move") where the end of the knife that sits ...

For anyone thinking about the $200 mystery box. Someone posted this on Reddit saying they got this box at the SFO on black Friday. Pretty great IMO, must be one of this Chase Boxes worth up to $500.

I ended up getting g a Kapara to try to save my suit pants. So far I am beyond impressed with it and wish I had tried it earlier. It’s thin, light weight, smooth, no jimping and a wire clip.

Thanks for all the suggestions and friend who helped me get one.
