Here is an UKPK without the location of origin on the right side of the blade. Is that a straight hint for a fake or do such Spydercos exist? It is counterproductive to use loctite on pocket clip screws on knives advertised as a four-way clip position capable knives. Cedric & Ada Gear and Outdoors just posted a video with a ceramic knife that lacks one of the big drawbacks of ceramic knives. It's elastic. Sounds quite interesting in my opinion.

For me, the vast variety of different steels and the reputation for a good heat treatment have been the factors that made me to take a look into Spyderco.

Good idea for a thread, since I just started, three days ago, thinking about dying scales, that I don't own yet. I'm super excited for the UKPK slat but not so much about the yellow handle color. So I thought about dying and seeing the results here I'm even more excited about the UKPK.
