Re: Fake Manix 2 LWs on Ebay?

There is a 2nd screw by the pivot screw that should be a pivot if it is pivot construction. That is what stands out to me. I don't understand? Use kindergarten words and 'splain it to me again... I saw the clip side and assumed it was pinned construction except for the pin shown below. All but the ...

Thanks Dan! It is probably more of a pic of opportunity, but I like your perspective better. I have been less out and about lately and very busy in the yard and kids' stuff. Always kids' stuff.

Re: Love grip and your pockets? Goldilocks Yojimbo

Looks cool! Hinderer does that with most their models. Textured G10 on one side for grip on the draw and smooth titanium on the clip side for ease in and out of the pocket. Mainly because they are frame locks, but I find it is the best of both worlds.

Re: Spyderco SpydieChef CQI - Linerlock quality

Checked mine. Looks identical. No blade play either. Glad to hear from those with lots of miles on theirs that it has not moved. Mine is new to me, so only a little experience with it though it has been put through the ringer in a short amount of time.

Re: Fake Manix 2 LWs on Ebay?

How can you tell they're fake? They used the word "tactical." Kidding. Not aware of an S90V version in bright red. Orange, but not red even though they describe it as orange. Blade looks stonewashed. There is a 2nd screw by the pivot screw that should be a pivot if it is pivot constructio...

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!

Congrats SaltyCaribbeanDfly and Mrj !!! Awesome pics! I'll start again. This is my well used Para 3 in SPY27. It has seen some nasty work but is always reliable. Was not a fan of the Para 3 LW. Thought it was a great knife but just didn't connect with me. My first Spyderco was the Para 3 DLC BD1N LW...

https://i.postimg.cc/WpgKPrp5/IMG-1372.jpg We got lucky today and Granddaughter’s husband was free to help us reblock the second island . Back porch sunny days. Ugh still turning my pictures sideways. Didn’t have this problem before site migration. PM2 and K294. Hey Greg! What are you doing to post? I use a 3rd party hosting site postimages.org like a lot of users on here. https://i.postimg.cc/BvS0CTFY/PXL-20240422-185833383.jpg

...Please DM or start a thread in off topic if you wish to discuss further. Now this is a paradox (maybe a ghost) I'll never understand. Usually when these things go too deep, this step gets lost in the abyss. Doesn't bother me. I just find it fascinating in the online human psyche. It would be int...

Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?

Hey Bolster , have you tried the Leaf Jumper yet? Slightly slimmer in pocket than the Manix and the overall edge profile(footprint) is more in line with the Manix. More straight than belly. I know it lacks jimping and a boye dent. However, the extreme hump proves the jimping useless and the ease of ...
