Re: Black Friday Wish List?

I've been looking for a great deal on a backup serrated S30V lil' Native G-10 lockback, part number C230MBGS. This far, I haven't found one at any kind of a discount off of MAP, but life goes on. :) I ended up finding one at the knife joker!! Sweet! Nice! Have you tried the Wharncliffe version? It ...

Re: Why Do Seki Models Have Lock Rock??!!

What if it's on a $250 knife? https://i.postimg.cc/k5QqPjxc/PXL-20231128-010829605-2.jpg Doesn't stop me from using it. I still think this is one of the best EDC knives in existence. But I would be lying if I said I didn't care. Doesn't affect safety. Doesn't prevent me from using it, but if one of ...

Re: Why Do Seki Models Have Lock Rock??!!

Typically, if I am cutting through cardboard and notice a bunch of clicking it annoys me, but that is all. My Native Chief has almost undetectable rock when cutting material in air. Interesting though, if you grip a Chief too hard you will notice a lot of rock because it does not have a Boye Dent an...

Maybe need to quote the winner during selections to notify them. Paging Nebuchadnezzar, you were the winner the previous week and now the judge for the latest submissions.

**Edit - Looks like he already responded and knows he won. My bad.

Re: Why Do Seki Models Have Lock Rock??!!

If you don't like excessive lock rock, you can ask the dealer to check for it when purchasing and ask them to pick the least amount of the bunch. That has worked well for me for my last few Seki model purchases.

Re: Handle Scale Vendors

Suingab does amazing work. https://g10.lt/ Best way to get in touch is through email off of his website. Everything is made to order. He will ask some questions to ensure he knows what you want. I have used AWT, Ripp's Garage Tech, and Sharp Dressed Knives. All are great! I've handled a friend's Lyn...

Looks great! Well done! You can always add a drop or two of Dawn. That will help it penetrate as well.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Everyone needs at least 2 PM2s Rick. Even if it is not your favorite model. Ok, so I remembered two things today. 1.) Never say you are done with yardwork for the season. 2.) My joints in my hands stiffen up so bad when working in the cold. Reynauds hit me hard in my late 20s. Lockbacks become my le...

I believe Onkata is a registered dealer. They sell through Amazon, so that would explain the packaging. Did you buy it through Amazon??

I believe a lot of Taiwan and Japan made Spydercos use all capitals if not all.

Good grief! I'm putting a photo in because I took one today, but there looks to be a few calendar shots this week. I hope you all are saving those photos for next year. Wow! Well done!

😂😂😂 page 86

We should all start speaking the members names and numbers out loudly before bedtime each night in chronological order. I have done this since page 34 and it works wonders. I think it has even cured my eczema.

I gave a couple of those away last year for Christmas. They both had them in the bottom of their pocket this year. They love them!
