My Shaman had the same “dry” spot on the handle. Rubbed a little mineral oil into it, and it’s gone.

Mine is an AUS-8 Serrated Delica w/ molded clip. Bought 25 years ago from REI. Used to carry it rock climbing.

Snagged one, but I don’t see these flying off the shelves. CF tends to stick around longer than most. I just didn’t want to miss this run and wait another year or more for Spyderco to make more. I'm with you on that. Been waiting for this run for a while. Still trying to justify that price point.
