Re: Next Project To Revive Another GOLDEN ERA Model

Re: A knife designed by the forum

Re: D'Allara 3 help

You're not kidding.....the first reassembly where I left out the washer went ok, but last night I shot the ceramic ball across the room. Fortunately it landed on a rug! I’ve used big Ziploc freezer bags before to disassemble cbbl and bbl. Big enough I can get my hands in, but also still catches any...

Re: D'Allara 3 help

Got it back together properly, thank you 👍. The lock's still stiff as ****, but I'll live with it I guess. Glad I could help! And congrats on completing a "not for the faint of heart" dis- and re-assembly. :bug-red-white I will say that I own 2 BBL's (Phoenix and Q-Ball) and both springs ...

Dear shb64:

Welcome to the Spyderco Forum.

I'm glad you were able to get your knife back together... with Pstone's kind assistance.

Stay safe,

Mike
Thank you Mike. I knew somebody here would be able to help, I just didn't expect it to be so fast! This place is great.

Why is one of the Braves outfielders wearing a pearl necklace? Anyone else see that?
That's Joc Petersen, he's quite the character. But he's our character. Go Braves.

Re: D'Allara 3 help

So, to quote You Tube reviewer Nick Shabazz, I'm not a brilliant man. I recently acquired a D'Allara 3 on the secondary market, my first Spyderco with the ball-bearing lock. It was very stiff when I got it, and I decided to disassemble it for cleaning and lubrication to see if I could loosen it up....
