Halpern email said more scales should be made in January. They were all out of Micarta when I emailed them.

Mine arrived today! I only ordered 1. About an hour after drop.

Nice work. Looking forward to hearing how this edge performs. I've noticed that SPY27 seems to strop back relatively easy for me. I'm planning on putting a few edges on to make sure that belt sharpened factory edge is long gone before relying on stropping as maintenance.

Spoke to SFO today and they’re going to take of the sheath, solid customer service. It seems SPY27 deburr’s very easily. Took this edge up to 2300 Diamond Matrix stone at 15dps.

Well I got mine tonight. Sharpened it up for about an hour. All to have the Boltaron sheath destroy my edge. It rolled/chipped my edge at the tip area. So just an fyi. Anyone else experience this?

Reading all these suggestions has me thinking how this could easily turn into whac-a-mole.

My vote is keep it simple. See how demand is for the next few mule releases and then adjust order size if needed based on a larger sample size. I actually think making the mule in SPY27 as regular production is an excellent idea as kind of a fix to this whole situation among other reasons.

From my understanding based on past posts is that Mule drops are quarterly.

I’ll throw my support behind keeping the current format.

I got one! Also got the Boltaron sheath and G10 scales. I got nervous because the site was definitely getting hammered with traffic.

How often are mules released?

Will the MULE TEAM Boltaron Sheath be available to order at the same time as the SPY27 release?
