Re: Q-Ball resin printed ball cage

With the last version I'm able to operate the lock with one finger as long as you don't fling the blade open with force because it causes lock stick and that could break this resin version. The end goal would be to have it casted in bronze or machined in some other metal for more reliability. Hey J...

Re: Spyderco Knock-offs, "Replicas"and Fakes

For those of us who have had the misfortune of ending up with a knock-off, what is the course of action after discovering that you own a fake knife? I’m stuck between turning it into a beater and no longer naming it as part of my collection, or putting it on the market as a fake in hopes that someon...

Awesome to hear, it’s on my bucket list as well!

What knives did your boys pick as their firsts?
Groom picked up a black/black Native 5 LW, one guy got a black/black Para3 LW, and the other got a K390 Endura!

A Dream Come True!

This past weekend I flew out to Colorado to stay in Breckenridge for 3 days with a buddy of mine who is about to get married and 4 other guys for a Bachelor weekend trip. We are all from Tennessee so it was a big deal just to get out west. When I looked at the map for our weekend of traveling I saw ...

Re: Things to look for when scanning for fakes?

After a once, twice, and third time over on the PM2 in question, I’ve noticed a couple of things that may or may not be suspect. I’ve heard stories of really good fakes, so the slightest difference spooks me a little. Could it just be manufacturers variance? Or do I have a potential fake on my hands...

Post pictures of the knife you're unsure of. Folks here will give it a look.

Most people don't want to post a list of the "Top Ten Counterfeit Tells" because that just tells the fakers what to fix.
That makes a lot of sense come to think of it, thanks for the heads up :)

Update: Possible Fake S110V?

My apologies if a thread like this already exists, but I’m interested to know from some of your experience, and possibly from Sal or Kristi, what things in particular might be potential warning signs on fakes (even really good fakes). Additionally, what are some things that vary from factory knife t...

Re: 2021 New Years Knife Resolutions?

I’m going to be transitioning out of manual labor and into real estate this year, so I’m keen to start collecting/using more gentleman’s style EDC including blades. Additionally, I want to sharpen up on my sharpening and edge refinement so that no matter what I have in my pocket I have a razor sharp...

Re: How Do Your Factory Seconds Look?

When I snatched my Native 5 and PM2 during the seconds sale my wife told me that the purchase would have to be part of our Christmas present budget which I was totally okay with. What I did not realize is that my wonderful wife (a Christmas and gift-giving fanatic) meant that I could not open the pa...

Re: Factory Seconds Shipping

I got order confirmation on as soon as I ordered on Friday but still have not received a followup email with any shipping info. Anyone else? Hi, zatch: I would guess there are a lot of people in the same boat. As I mentioned above, we're working through thousands of orders. We appreciate your patie...
