Got this Delica today and I’m very impressed with the edge out of the box. Will be wicked after I touch it up.

Had some rewards dollars from KSF, so I just ordered a Delica. The knife looks great and the steel seems promising.

Unfortunately I didn't fall in love with the knife like I hoped I would and it will be on it's way to a new home this afternoon.

Build quality was great, factory edge was great, blade was centered, action felt like it would break in nicely, and lockup was good. Definitely not a fault in execution ...

Maybe, maybe not. I'm convinced Spyderco would straighten it out without any intervention because they are Spyderco. I was convinced of that from the first time I read the original post .

I called customer service and they are in the process of exchanging my box for a premium box. All good so far.

Yes, you should contact their customer service. They always make good on stuff like that, it's not in their interest to rip off people, I'm sure they'll be able to sort that out with you.
