Re: Sage 5 scales
Thanks. Any other suggestions? Their website is in a different language. You're probably looking for standard, not LW model scales. But just in case: parsons blade works has carbon sage LW scales (currently out of stock), and lacy mill works also makes sage 5 LW scales (he may be able to make stand...

Re: What steels do you have the most of?
I don't have an extensive collection, but the steels I have most of in spyderco are M4 and recent. Didn't plan it to be that way but I've been very happy with how they sharpen and perform and it just happened.

Re: International Tracking Question - Delivered?
I've had a package that was recently sent to a wrong address in China rather than my address in Europe. it was eventually returned to Spyderco, and made its way to the right address - but it was quite the ordeal. The weird thing is that when I was given the tracking code, it showed that the package ...

Re: "Scope The Edge" Ideas and Participants List
Given the recent discussions over magnacut HRC, and Larrin's recent video: https://youtu.be/a5lzf8LA03o I wonder if others would also find it beneficial to test edge retention of Larrin's recommended ~62 vs 64-65 rc magnacut, and to see if and how increased hardness affects fine and working edge. I ...

Totally agree, I've had some issues with shipping recently and have interacted with all three at different points. All have been super helpful and friendly!

Re: Lil Native Sprint S90V CF Question...
Oh nice, wasn't aware there is going to be a s90v lil native. Do we have an idea of when it may be released? It was first announced way back in Reveal 5, so it's well "overdue." The S90V/CF Chief, that was also announced with the Lil Native, is starting to make its appearance at retailers...

Re: Help with decision? Sage 1 max vs Para3 max vs Sage 5 LW
They were designed by Parsons Bladeworks and made by Karbadize, a limited run for a discord group I'm in. But Parsons Bladeworks is selling his own Sage 5 LW scales now, and they look great! Oh yes, that makes sense. A sage 5 LW with a pair of parsons micarta scales is a combination I was consideri...

Re: Help with decision? Sage 1 max vs Para3 max vs Sage 5 LW
First, is the 3" / 76mm blade length a hard limit? If not, give the Watu a good look. It gives you the bushing / stepped pivot like the Sage 5 LW, a neutral handle that doesn't look you into any grip, and a very thin, slicey 20CV blade. You can get aftermarket scales if you just can't stand th...

Re: Help with decision? Sage 1 max vs Para3 max vs Sage 5 LW
Thanks again for all the thoughtful responses. I've been sitting with them for the past day or so, and they've given me a lot to think with. I'm hearing the chorus for the sage 1 loud and clear. It speaks for itself that so many here have only positive words for it. And I think I've made my mind up ...
