Re: Forum Update/Maintenance & Move - PLEASE READ

Since the font size has been adjusted back to a default larger after the inital shrinkage, it would be nice to be able to manually not only zoom in via editing the board preferences but to zoom out , too. Right now there's too much scrolling involved and I have to zoom out using my brower's zoom fun...

Re: Knife that screams liner lock got the compression lock - why?

One thing that always feels a little off with regard to the comp lock is the somewhat unnatural way I have to pinch the knife with basically just my fingertipps when disengaging the lock. When disengaging a liner lock the contact area is much greater since the knife kind of rests on the phalanxes of...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!

The bowie is definetly not the goat in my eyes. Same here. I handled the original, and did not particularly like the wide blade with upswept belly. The whole design left me a bit underwhelmed to be honest, even though the execution and materials were nice. Different strokes for different folks. Tha...

Re: Forum Update/Maintenance & Move - PLEASE READ

I must be a little slow today, but I can't figure out which option we're supposed to hit to insert a Youtube video. Used to be a small circle with a black arrow pointed towards the right. When I select the option that looks similar now, it says something about invalid bb codes or something along th...

The sticker refers to the Slysz Bowie being (in many people’s opinion) the Spyderco GOAT (greatest of all time).

Seriously?

That's gotta be the most "cringe" thing I've seen in a long time.

Re: The Astute

I guess we all agree that the Astute is the best new design :bug-red has come up with for recent years and we all would LOVE to see a steel upgrade of basically any kind... :cheap-sunglasses

Personally I wouldn't mind the addition of an Astute XL either.

Oh, it's wishing time again?

Well, I'll have a Marcin Slysz take on a large, modern slipjoint in Magnacut or LC200N with EU-blue anodized titanium scales then pls... thank you.

Re: Waterway

I'd be more than suprised if Spyderco were to release a rust prone version of the Waterway... it kind of would contradict what Lance designed the knife to be. So, given the corrosion resistance charts in circulation currently, an Magnacut version might be feasible if they chose to keep the design as...

I don't know. If at least it came with a blade finish a little more elaborate (like the Slysz Bowie or the mentioned Drunken)...

At this price point the plain belt satin is a bit underwhelming IMHO... :neutral
