Re: Red & Black Holiday Sale!
The website worked so smoothly this time! Nothing I couldn’t live without, but it was so much easier to browse this time. Thanks, Spyderco Team, for all the work to make this happen.

Interesting suggestion, Kennbr34. I’ve been having the exact same issue. I’ll give the tiger stripes a try!

Looks like a lot of good deals for those who can get in. Think I saw a Native for less than $40.

Re: 2024 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!
Here’s my submission for the calendar. My family was camping for the weekend while the Spydiechef handled food prep. We came across an old train car in the nearby town that the kids wanted to check out, which is in the background.
Good luck to all! Thanks for hosting this contest, Spyderco team.

Re: Are you going to Blade Show ATL June 2nd-4th?
Yesterday was a lot of fun. It was a real pleasure meeting and briefly speaking with Mr. Janich. For anyone who hasn’t made it to the show, it’s well worth the trip.

Very cool to see pics from the ground. I had imagined a few new pieces of equipment, but this is an absolutely massive expansion!

Re: Are you going to Blade Show ATL June 2nd-4th?
I’ll be there as I’m only an hour or two away from the venue depending on traffic. I look forward to Blade and the Spyderco booth all year. Spyderco will usually bring prototypes of upcoming models so you can see what’s in the pipeline, which is always fun to check out.

Re: Odd Places You Have Found your Lost Knife
I lost my first Spyderco, a brown VG-10 Delica while putting bundles of cardboard into the racks of our warehouse. The clip got caught on the poly strapping and hitched a ride into the racks. I panicked when I noticed it was missing and turned over every bundle until I found it. Someone in the plant...

Haven’t handled a Lamia in person, but the grind looks very thin behind the edge. I’d love to see that carry over to the collaboration.

Re: EDC style fixed blade (sketched concept design)
How would you plan to attach the handles to the knife? A pointer I received from someone who apprenticed with Fiddleback Forge is for your first and last pins to be close to the blade and butt of the handle. This is to reduce the potential of the scales separating from the tang if you’re pinning and...

Re: 2023 Spyderco Plans Or Projects
I don't have plans to buy many more knives, but I would like to get better at freehand sharpening. If anyone has a recommendation for an affordable bench stone(s), I'd welcome it. The most "super" steel I have is probably M4. I’m in exactly the same boat. There may be a knife or two that ...

Re: so... guitars...?
… Tele Jason Isbell … I was on a Tele kick a year or two ago and realllly liked the Isbell Tele. Looks like a sweet guitar! I play mostly acoustic music. Have a few acoustic guitars. The one getting the most playing time lately has been a Waterloo Scissortail. For the last month or so I’ve been pla...

Re: Can't find Spyderedges
The thread David started that’s stickied in this forum had a big impact on me trying a SE knife. I always assumed that serrated would be breast at first, but sharpening each individual tooth would be necessary and extremely time-consuming. Learning that sharpening on the Sharp Maker was straightforw...
