Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Outstanding! Tengrainbread 😎 That Pistol Pack is so freakin neat. Now, did you buy the Pistol Pack new in the '70's? Also, I LOVE that Shorty 40! You have excellent taste sir. Even a super nice Milt Sparks holster. And, I love Pachmayr Grips as well. Nope, I bought the Pistol Pak on GunBroker about...

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Well I haven't been on the forum for about 8 months. I've been buying less knives and more ammo recently, and realize I never posted my pistolas in this thread. My 70s Dan Wesson 15-2V with 8" barrel and original Sacramento combat grips. I actually bought a whole Pistol Pak, so I have the 2.5&q...

Re: NKD Forum N5
I bought one of these new on ebay a while back because it was very cheap for an S90V Native. Unfortunately the blade centering is way off (basically rubbing on the scale) but one of these days I'll try to tweak it and start using it.

Re: I will now EDC a Jumpmaster 2 for 1 year
I carry mine IWB but it's on the big side for that, so it doesn't get carried too often. I get it out for days when I'll be working with it, camping, that kind of stuff. I do frequently carry fixed but tend to go with the Street Beat or one of my Perrin customs. You'll probably get used to it pretty...

My Police 4 LW K390 has been the best built one out of the box.

Love Pete's videos. I like how he mixes in an actual review and testing with some poking fun at "knife nerds".

Re: Reveal 8 Released!
I'm somewhat surprised and dismayed at the responses to Spyderco's instagram post on the Reveal. The majority of the comments are extremely negative. Do people lose all sense of etiquette and reason when posting on social media? A lot of it is trashing backlocks, FRN, Chinese manufacturing, and serr...

Endura K390 plain edge is out but not in SE:

I think the first SE K390 knife will be the Police 4 just announced in Release 8.

Re: K390 Police 4 LW SE
To me this is the ultimate form of the Police model. The refinements of the P4 LW, the sheer cutting power of a 4" serrated blade, and K390 as the cherry on top. It's just a masterpiece.

Re: Reveal 8 Released!
I like that this Reveal was kept simple, with a small quantity of models.
The highlight is the SE Police 4 K390. Many have been waiting a long time for the SE P4, and to have it in K390 is that much better.

If you want the closest thing to a Dragonfly but bigger, you need the Chaparral. A Delica or Endela would also work.

Re: Native 5 salt lockbar tightness
In actual use I use a slow roll to open a Native 5. They require more force to flick open than any of my other lock backs. If you do want to flick it open. - a couple drops of lube could help - less sideways wrist flick - more thumb power (see link) https://streamable.com/23boqk EDIT wrong thread

My Native 5 Salt has one of the easiest-to-depress lock springs of my Spyderco backlocks. Huh.

Re: Forum sprint run?
Honestly I’m sure I’d be on board for whatever is decided upon, but we probably need to narrow options and create a poll if this is simmering we actually want to see happen. Already been done like 4 times in the last 6 months. No consensus, nor any understanding of the reality that Golden is backed...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!
Titanium framelock + Taichung QC + Spyderco refinement + Slysz Golden Touch... and you have a winning formula. That alone makes the knife one of a kind. In the end, you look at knife as practical tools, hence the praise for the Native Chief more practical design. I look at them as piece of art. If ...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!
Unfortunate that it will be harder to get for international people, but to say it's discrimination that KnifeJoy won't ship overseas is silly. Is it also discrimination when a brick-and-mortar knife store doesn't have an online shop? Or doesn't carry a certain brand? Honestly, the entitlement is baf...
