Re: How about a hypothetical?

Eric. The manix and lil native are two of my favorites. I probably carry Sal’s designs more often, but if I can only have just ONE Spyderco, I want it to be something that’s more idiosyncratic. Eric seems to have a unique eye for things, which I appreciate.

Re: What are you buying from Reveal 6?

Of course I’ll be getting the Pacific Salt SE LC200N, but I’m also really looking forward to the wharncliffe manbug. I think the flat edge will work perfectly on such a small knife.

Hi EZ,

We're considering it, but IF we were to make a Vanax piece, we would more than likely test with a Mule Team.

Are there any downsides to with working with Vanax aside from its high cost?

Rex 45

Though It just may get edged out by K390. Only had k390 for a little over a week but it’s impressing the heck out of me. We’ll see what happens.

Honorable mention to LC200N.

Re: Salt knives pivot lube ?

I drop a little KPL in if I’m doing a full disassembly and cleaning, but I really doubt it’s necessary. Just the same thing I would do to any other knife.

Great combo Lumpy! May I ask what color is that Hawkbill? Looks like a rootbeer looking color, I dig it. :)
Thanks! It’s actually a bit more of a deep red/ burgundy color. I used the “Wine” colored Rit dye.

Re: Watu - aftermarket scales?

I’ve seen a few wooden aftermarket scales on Spydies and I have to admit, I never really cared for them, But WOW does that watu look good in those new pants! Great work here! The wood really complements this design excellently.

Re: Siren

Funny this thread popped up, I just stumbled across Lance's 20 minute rundown of this knife on youtube, and I'm completley sold. Unless the Rex Chief finally drops real soon its gonna be the next knife I get. Originally I saw it as " hey another salt spydie, neat" with no real interest in ...

Re: I love the Spyderco Endura

I just recently got an endura (ffg, VG10, green) and I’m absolutely blown away by it. Picked it up to have a larger back lock knife for outdoors use, but I think it’s going to end up being carried way more often than I thought. Great knife!
