Ok thanks. I said coarser because of the more visible grind lines, though in reality I couldn't really distinguish much of a difference in feel. I've put it back together now so can't recheck. Maybe you are right and it's finer and just looks coarser.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had seen this sort of thing before, or had any ideas as to why this area has the coarser finish. It’s not like it on the other side Just curious as it looks intentional, and I’ve never come across it before.

My Yojimbo 2 scales got a bit of a sanding of the edges.

Trying out the Yojimbo 2 to compare to the Canis. I’d be interested in your thoughts. Those are some unique knives. Probably not for me, but I’m always curious about niche knives. Canis I have had for a while now and like it for work. Yojimbo is only a few hours old. Fit and finish wise it is great...
