Re: Function & Practicality Aspects of EDC
I know this is going to go counter to what a lot of people will say but what I carry mostly depends on my mood rather then practicality. I'm a correctional officer so I can't carry at work at all, so any knife I carry won't see legit work duty. Most times my knives are dedicated box openers or other...

Re: Warm vs Cool weather carry
Unless I got a job that would require me to carry something special or out of the ordinary I pretty much carry the same EDCs as I do in the cold as I do when it's in the 90s. To me what ever type of job I'm doing has far more sway with me than if it's cold or hot outside. Now I am sort of picky abo...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
I finally broke down and completed the purchase for a Smock that's been sitting in my cart at St Nicks for a while. Now I'm having an internal battle over whether I want to spend the money and get the Spydiechef that gets awesome reviews or the less popular Sliverax. I have a feeling I'll ultimately...

Re: Warm vs Cool weather carry
Right now I mostly carry a Para 3 LW and I'm waiting on a Smock in the mail right now to add to my warm weather rotation.
I've been thinking about picking up a Manix XL and a Yoji to add to my cool weather carry selection

Warm vs Cool weather carry
With Labor Day marking the unofficial end of the summer and the weather getting ready to transition in some parts of the country I thought it would be interesting to see how many people change what they carry dependent on the weather. When it's hot here in NC and I'm in shorts and a t shirt I mostly...

Re: How do you carry your knives and why?
I usually carry my knife clipped in my right rear pocket. I do this mostly because I try to keep it way from my phone that I usually carry in my right from pocket. I don't like to pay for insurance on my phones so I avoid metal coming in contact with the screen at all costs. I learned my lesson a wh...

Stephen and Owen King - Sleeping Beauties
I find Stephen Kings books hit or miss, but the highs are really high for me so I keep chasing hoping I find another one I love.

Re: Sal, Can We Form A Collective, And Order An Exclusive?
I'm new around here and don't want to over step, but I've been part watch forums and I've seen small manufacturers make a forum specific watch. I think this is a good idea especially if "Spyderco Forum" would be printed somewhere on the knife. I think the biggest challenge would be getting...

Re: When the Pochi will be available?
I know blade HQ put them on pre order but I think they sold out on pre order. Knifecenter still has the pre order up but you pay the full price up front with no delivery date. I know that still doesn't answer when they'll be available though. I'd like to know myself because I want one.

Re: Where Can I Buy/Sell Discontinued Models Without Supporting The Flippers?
I'm glad I came across this thread. I'm new into collecting knives and Spyderco's are my favorite. I like a lot of the weird and discontinued stuff but the potential of receiving fakes on ebay scares me.
