Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

Received my SE model today... what a unique and impressive knife. Overall reaction - This is a really big knife hiding in a tiny package. I consider my biggest Spyderco to be the Shaman - this has more blade length with half the bulk. The handle is incredibly long, skinny, and thin. This would be th...

Budd,

Really appreciate the help you give people looking for new sprints.

You're like Spyderco Batman... not the hero we deserve, but the one we need.

At this point I think it's more a waiting game of shipping and getting stuff to dealers.

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

I’ve see a number of sites listing a PE and SE as “coming soon” with prototype photos. Can someone confirm if this will have a 4-way clip?? If this is true it might a fantastic one to Ziptie (even if just for nostalgia). My best friend tried to order two of them in advance and they would not take h...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

how will we know when this is going to drop? will we see notifications from the sites that are carrying it or will spyderco announce a release date? My gut is telling me that we will see it before July 04, 2022. Truly I expected it before now. When it does finally drop I've got a feeling that it's ...

If I shoot a woodpecker who is pecking my chimney, is that offensive, defensive, or utility?

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

Oh by the way>> for all you lucky souls who get to take in the BLADE Show this weekend I was wondering if they have this C-60 Ayoob Sprint Run on display at the Spyderco Booth? I've heard the Military 2 is there on display and I was wondering if the Spyderco folks took a prototype of this C-60 Ayoo...

Re: Check my math for mule demand.

I think 2 days is an absolutely appropriate amount of time to sell out a mule. Good job Spyderco crew. Leaving out the forum interest multiplyers, if that run was 700 then that's a good baseline for lower-interest steels. Magnacut was always going to be an outlier, and the bots would have bought 5,0...

Re: Knife Knuts, Steel Junkies, and Mule... POLL! Please VOTE!

Considering the Mule team name suggestion thread was posted almost a year ago, I doubt we're coming up with a bunch of new, exciting options that get overwhelming support. If a lot of the names that had more interest from that thread were eliminated for a good reason, as Kristi said, then I'd suppor...

i can't imagine there's too much more to say that hasn't been said in 74 pages. we're all just waiting. too many questions and no real answers... all the guessing and postulating on this thread have so muddied the waters that i've lost track of what we're actually expecting. i tried asking once for...

Re: Rit dye advice, red g10 to blurple

Blade HQ has a good video on youtube on dying scales. It's in their "how to knife" series. Just search "blade hq dye" and it'll pop up. I follow those instructions and have only had a couple issues, entirely my own fault. My biggest issue was - do NOT let the dye/water mixture bo...

I'm not trying highjack this thread, but I've searched everywhere it seems and can't find what I'm looking for. I've been trying to find micarta scales for my sage LW or my sage CF. I see they were pretty popular for the LW a couple of years ago but can't find any anywhere for sale now. Any of you ...

Oh yeah? When did you buy those 2? I bought one in Sept 2020, so I caught the tail end of the supply as well. I bought a PD1 in September, the same week I joined the forum. I remember seeing them go out of stock for a week then come back for a few days then went out for good. Edit:found the invoice...

Re: PD1 Mule history help

The original Carpenter Micro-Melt PD#1 (PD1) Mule Team blades were introduced in 2017. The Mule Team market was waning about that time, so the PD1 Mules hung around for a few years. The SFO handles the distribution of the Mule Team blades and they sold the last two PD1's in 2020; I bought the last ...
