Machete by Spyderco?
Who wants to see Spyderco make an ethnic series machete? I think it would be really cool for them to make it out of a easy to resharpen steel, but I want to hear your opinions!
The machete I would like to see made by Spyderco is a parang in 1075 with micarta handles.

Re: Best steel for these machetes
Thanks to everyone for replying! I really liked your post Mike Slayer, it was full of stuff I didn't know.
I also agree that it would be col to see an ethnic series khukri or parang from Spyderco, and in fact I am going to make a poll in General Discussion on it.

Re: Best steel for these machetes
Thanks everyone for replying! I will probably end up using a simple carbon steel, most likely 1/8" or 1/4" thick 1075. I have no experience in knife making, but when I start to make knives, the parang I drew will be one of the first ones I make.

Best steel for these machetes
I have been thinking about the steel I should use if I ever make a machete, and I have come down to either 1095, CPM 3V, or 80crv2. I do not know that much about steel, so I would really appreciate it if some of you who are more knowledgeable about steel gave me your opinion on which steel I should ...

I would also like to see a pair of kitchen scissors in Lc200N an toxic green FRN.
This is kind of what I would want them to look like.

Knife Drawings
I have seen some knife drawings on some of the threads, so I wanted to have a central spot to put everyone's drawings.
(Post whatever type of drawing you want, weather it be colored or a sketch!)
I´ll start things out with a few of my drawings.

Re: Tanto PM2 Support Thread
I´m so glad they finally came out with a satin version! I have been hoping for this ever since I saw the DLC version, because in my experience, DLC scratches quite easily under light to medium use.

Re: 2021 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!
This is a one off Spyderco Urban, with a brown coating on the blade. I really like this knife because is is really light, and is stays really sharp.
Good luck everyone! :D
