I'm grateful for companies like spyderco who acknowledge their customer base like they do. Good ideas are discussed, practical ones persued, the rest dismissed. As much as I would like a custom shop, I believe cost would bleed into the big picture. And the value of the spyderco brand would decrease....

I would rather see the efforts go towards the Millie instead. Maxamet, 4V, spy27, k390, all steels that should be run on that atleast once.

I'm curious how the chosen design will compliment this steel. Takes advantage of all the positive attributes of 15V. Just reading the thread tells me the heat treat can match what spyderco is capable of producing.

Bcuz it's mostly a fidget knife I will say neither. I'd go para 3 lightweight with bd1n. I'd have to check price, but it was 91 last I checked. However if the standard pm2 is the only model of interest, s30v is where to go. For around the same price as a pm2 the lightweight para 3 has the spy27 out.
