Re: 12 reasons why the Delica is better than the Native

That Native 5 is quite simply the best feeling blade I've ever held in my hands, so I strongly disagree.

Also the lack of a finger choil makes the Delica an instant non-buy for me.

Re: Odd milestone - who took all the g10?

I kind of know what you're talking about. ALL my Spyderco knives had to be G10. Then last week I got my first FRN (native 5), and now I'm not sure I go back to G10.

Re: How do you carry your knives and why?

Something big clipped in my back right pocket, mostly a millie; something smaller in the watch pocket, like the Urban. Usually something else in the front right pocket, by itself to avoid stupid human tricks. I keep my ladybug on a lanyard and drop the knife in my shirt pocket. It has a quick detac...

Re: How do you carry your knives and why?

I just throw it in my right pocket, loose, with the clip removed. I don't like clipping the knife to my pocket.

Re: Shipping of internal parts

Thank you for the reply Sal. Fair enough. I do hope the company can find a way to make selling parts eventually work, though. It would be a great service.

Re: Taking apart knives - part 2

As I mentioned in the parts shipping thread, the one thing I love almost as much as owning a Spyderco is taking it apart and servicing it. I do so, though, knowing full well that I've voided the warranty on my knife.

To me, taking the knives apart is part of the fun of the hobby.

Re: Shipping of internal parts

I gotta be honest, I find this to be silly. The one thing I love almost as much as Spyderco knives is taking them apart. I do so, though, knowing full well that I've voided the warranty. To me, part of the hobby of owning nice knives is taking them part and cleaning all the individual pieces and ser...

Re: Why the Limited Selections on Fixed-Blades?

There are likely few fixed blades because for like 99% of people, they have no need of one outside of kitchen knives.

Spyderco is a business - they're going to make what sells. That would be folding knives.

Dragonfly vs Lil' Native

Hey guys. I currently have a G10 Dragonfly and I really like it overall, but I feel like the handle may be a tad small for my hands. I want to stick with the small knives and was considering picking up a Lil' Native, and I was wondering which do you guys prefer or think is the better overall knife? ...

Re: Maybe small knives are not TOTALLY awful

The Dragonfly may be the perfect folding knife. It is perfectly capable for anything 99% of people need a knife for, it's very socially acceptable (I honestly don't get how some of yall comfortably use some of the larger knives in public), and just feels great in the hands.

Dragonfly G10 maker's mark?

Hey guys, I recently got a dragonfly G10 and I'm loving it so far. However, I noticed that my dragonfly has Sal's design mark on the blade, but on every youtube video I've watched on the knife, and on Spyderco's own website, the mark isn't there. I'm just trying to figure out why that is. Is that no...
