I just got one in the last month and its definitely blue.
I had the same concerns as you but I think it must be down to the lighting in the videos/pictures.

Its definitely a dark blue but in no way close to black. Kind of like a dark denim.

I think anything not black looks a bit less tactical which is nice on an edc slippit.

Wouldn't say no to a wharncliffe or sheepsfoot version either.

I'm interested in the wharncliffe blade in the other thread but I'd definitely fancy a Salt as well.

My choice (if I'm getting to chose) would be a PE sheepsfoot, like the old rescue blade profile just not serrated. In the new light green FRN with LC200N.

Yep, I'd have one of those too, be nice to see the drop point blade shape in the new Salt option. Was there ever a sheepsfoot UKPK ?
