I've carried mine pretty much every day since it came out, and it sharpens just fine.

Re: St. Nick’s Exclusive red and black Goddard!

I was thinking I'd get one of these, but I'm carrying the S90V CF Siren today and I can't really see much of a difference between the two.

Re: Anyone know why the A.T.R. was discontinued?

Looks like another really good knife with a price that didn't quite line up. That doesn't usually go well for a production knife.

Re: Major weight difference👀. Why ❓❓🫠❓❓

Two completely different knife models that aren't even in the same series. Weight is one of many differences between the two. I'd suggest requesting a Spyderco catalog (very nicely printed and free) so you can see the knives pictured to scale. Looking at website photos doesn't tell the tale when it ...

Re: magnacut gb2 salt

I'd love to see a semi-salt GB3 with a modified lock and MagnaCut. I'd also be cool with just putting some MagnaCut in the regular GB2, although I'll still say the lock could stand to be a bit more comfortable to use. I love my regular GB2 but I still have to be careful living in a humid/wet environ...

Re: Blade HQ Shaman exclusive coming, green micarta and DLC steel? (M4)

Bigger order or slower seller? Some clarification on this would be great. I think every run should come with a production number instead of just guessing and assuming. Pretty sure I remember Sal saying a while back that they were going to require bigger orders in the future. Looking at recent exclu...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

It has been my experience that hollow grinds cut better through certain materials. The curve lowers the friction between the blade and what is being cut. Examples being cheese or flexible tubing/rubber and similar materials. Stuff like that. Any sort of flat grind will not cut anywhere near as nice ...

Google Search and knife center search doesn't show this model. When does it drop?

Does the website not show until it's available for purchase?
According to their Instagram, they will be making a new Instagram post when it is released.

The Spyderco page for the sprint used to say hollow grind unless I was seeing things, now it says sabre. My interest has fallen sharply if this is the case.

Re: Seki City models disappointing

The fit and finish of the few Seki knives I've purchased recently has been noticeably worse than any of my Golden or Taichung models. It's enough that I plan to only buy from Golden and Taichung going forward (unless something changes). If the prices are gonna keep going up I expect the quality to m...

Re: Upcoming: St. Nick's Para 3 LW DLC 4V red FRN exclusive

Mine is a bit stiff but that’s expected with DLC in my experience. I usually wait for it to loosen up naturally with break-in before I adjust anything. Seems like I usually end up not needing any adjustments at all. Very happy with the quality of this one and the colorway is just 10/10 in my opinion.
