Re: Wharncliffe Para Military 2 CUTLERY SHOPPE EXCLUSIVE

I love it, but S30V and black G10 is a combo that I don't want/need in any knife. The second they come in a different steel and color I'll be all over it.

You're supposed to take the soda cans out of the box before cutting it! :D
Are you sure it's not just some residue?
I’m sure it would cut the cans no problem! Haha

They sure do scratch easily. I cut up a cardboard soda box (first thing I cut with it) and got a couple long scratches on the blade. Just a heads up for those averse to a little character on their knives. I don’t mind, personally.

Re: Shaman Z-Wear Sprint - General Discussion & Support thread - (not alerts)

I sure hope that is not when the remainder of the Shamans will be produced?! Which I believe is the bulk of them. I am guessing only about 300 have been sold to date. Just a wild guess. The dates OpticsPlanet/Campsaver give for sprints aren’t based on anything. Throwing a dart at a calendar would b...

Re: Why are so many people concerned with perfect blade centering?

It’s a sign of quality. If I buy a 5 dollar knife at the gas station I don’t think I have room to complain about the blade being off-center. If I buy a $200+ dollar knife I expect things to be done right. Otherwise why am I paying that much? I’m actually not that picky and don’t mind if a blade isn’...

Any one get an email confirmation on order?
I did, although I'm not sure that really confirms anything stock-wise.

I finally got an order number, but only just now after you guys are saying it was OOS. Just kept refreshing the checkout screen. Not super confident I actually got one.
Same here. Oh well

I was able to get one in one try on my phone. Maybe not as high demand as other releases?
I'd say you got lucky. The site isn't even working for me.

It loaded as out of stock the first time for me, but after a refresh they were in stock. But then the site went 404 so no better, really.

My CQI has no stick. People like to make it sound like every single one has that issue, but that's clearly not the case.

Re: DLT Cruwear purple Para3

I guess I'm confused why people are calling this a "fiasco". It certainly wasn't a good look for DLT. Their site crashed during the PM2 sale and then today, after assuring customers that experience wouldn't be repeated... had the server crash before the Para 3 even went on sale. When you ...

Re: Gayle Bradley 2

I totally missed that in your original post. My bad. The lock is definitely the low point in the design. I'd like to see a CQI where they make it easier to access and actuate and smooth out the pointy bits. The knife would be a 10/10

Re: Gayle Bradley 2

Mine was sticky as well. Take a pencil and with the knife closed, draw on the part of the blade where the lock catches when the blade is open. It took a few applications for it to take permanent, but it smoothed it right up immediately.

Re: Are you EDC'ing your WATU...

Yep! It’s everything you mentioned and has a very satisfying action. I did have to sand the Spydiehole a bit because mine was so sharp it was shaving down my fingernail. That’d be my only real complaint. Great knife
