Re: M398 Steel Testing – Edge Retention, Toughness, and More
So if I read correctly, at 1 point higher on the HRC scale, s125v is barely outdone by m398 in toughness, while holding an edge for reasonably longer. I feel like at that higher end wouldn't more folks be interested in s125v? Also with lower carbide volume, it may be less tough, bit perhaps it will...

Re: Would s110v family sale better w/o Blurple?
I think the blurple has steered some folks away from s110v for sure, however I have seen quite a few people speaking pretty highly of the color, and even a few remarks on having bought a second PM2 or other model simply due to the color. I'd say it's probably down the middle 50/50. However I will sa...

I've done the preorders before, usually always get the knife but I also usually end up buying it else where because they have it first and I'm impatient.
Hahaha that sounds something like I would do that's hilarious

Re: Spyderco pre-order question
Just a quick question in regards to spyderco pre-orders. (more specifically from blade HQ if that makes a difference) I've dealt with Blade HQ in the past and found them to be a straight-up company. I was ready to place a pre-order with them after the latest reveal, but their non-refundable five do...

Re: Spyderco pre-order question
Sorry I couldn't respond any sooner! I appreciate the clarification a lot, this makes a ton of sense. Now on to choosing a different spyderco for the time being any suggestions? Going for something that prioritizes edge stability.
Thank you all for the replies!

Spyderco pre-order question
Just a quick question in regards to spyderco pre-orders. (more specifically from blade HQ if that makes a difference) I have the LW P4 k390 on pre-order, and don't mind the wait, but is there any typical timeframe spyderco goes by to drop pre-orders? (Super excited to rock k390 in a huge folder )

Re: Spyderco Autonomy reassembly
Hey Evil D, I figured I would update you on the progress. I did it! I have to admit, after I realized the correct order of reassembly, it was remarkably easy to put back together. I only wish I made a quick video to throw up here for someone's future reference in case they ended up in my position. I...

Re: Spyderco Autonomy reassembly
Ahh, thank you sir. I believe this is the method I am currently attempting, if I have success I will update! Difficult knife to disassemble, however being h1, I don't understand why my coworker took it apart to begin with

Spyderco Autonomy reassembly
Hey! So I have been looking online to see if anyone has posted a video or any advice on the reassembly of the autonomy.. A co-worker of mine has taken his down for maintenance, and was unable to reassemble. I have assembled many auto knives but this one seems particularly challenging. Any tips on ho...
