Well, the UPS driver did a drive-by and dumped the package into the package delivery room here at the apartment complex. The UPS website still shows that the package was delivered and that it's being returned.
I called Luxer One, the company that operates the room, and of course they could see that ...

Re: USPS 🤪
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, (have AI look that one up, kids,) despite what online retailers do I try to not use the shippers that start with the letter "U."

Re: Got A Problem With An Online Retailer
After two weeks it appears that this issue with this purchase is resolved. Yesterday UPS said they attempted their first actual delivery here at the apartments where I live. After two previous refusals of the package it looks like they actually brought it all the way here knowing that I had already ...

Re: Got A Problem With An Online Retailer
On Saturday after seeing UPS had done a u-turn with the package and it was coming back to me for the third time, (it was still in Kansas,) I called them and rejected the delivery again. As per the norm the package would continue to Aurora, CO where it usually went after arriving from Kansas. Once in ...

Re: United Healthcare Free Oral-B E-Toothbrush Email Scam
In my case I'm not a United Healthcare customer, so the email in my spam folder was DOA, (dead on arrival,) and deleted. Yeah, it's just a phishing email that's blasted out to millions of people whose email address is scraped from somewhere.

Spyderco Sticker Spottings
I've been meaning to post this. Has anyone unexpectedly seen Spyderco stickers stuck somewhere? Tool boxes, laptops, and on cars are pretty much normal, but what about somewhere you wouldn't expect.

Re: Got A Problem With An Online Retailer
The latest update on the UPS website says UPS is re-delivering the package to me for the 2nd time. This will be their 3rd attempt at delivering the package. (Initial attempt+two re-attempts)

Re: Got A Problem With An Online Retailer
I don't recall if it was UPS or FedEx, but I ordered a Mule through the Spyderco website and selected it to ship work signature confirmation, and Spyderco paid the shipping since it was over $150. Well, the courier completely ignored the request for signature confirmation and just left the package ...

I've tried to, correct. So far they have been non-responsive since an initial question I had for them 3 months ago.SpyderEdgeForever wrote: ↑Tue Feb 03, 2026 11:45 am
During this entire process, you dealt with the retailer, not the American knife company that produced the knife. Correct?

Have you tried this? Maybe too late now, since it sounds like they've already tried to deliver it. But it might be something to do in the future.

Re: Got A Problem With An Online Retailer
Honestly, though it would aggravate me, too, it's not worth getting high blood pressure over. Let it come. If there is a problem, then go ballistic.
Well Dan, if I do allow it to be delivered and then there's a problem, I'd have no recourse with UPS or the retailer. All UPS would say is, "It's ...

They only offer two options:

Re: Got A Problem With An Online Retailer
Any suggestions as to what I should do?
Call you credit card company and have them issue a charge back.
Unless you’re selecting the shipping carrier during checkout I think you’re just asking for trouble expecting a large retailer to do anything out of the ordinary.
They only offer two ...

Re: Got A Problem With An Online Retailer
Does the company answer the phone? As the shipper they are the ones who have contracted with UPS. Perhaps they can make a request to have it returned to them that will stick.

Re: Got A Problem With An Online Retailer
Does your address not receive "U" shipments? As in, when it arrives at "U's" hub in your location it will be marked as undeliverable and returned to sender?
ETA: And it will be really helpful if we know whether "U" is UPS or the postal "service".
It is UPS.
UPS will bring it to the 420 unit ...
