Is there anything (besides the Watu case) that anyone would like me to focus on in particular?
The Q and the Native displays are there now, too.

Re: SFO virtual tour - please!

I live down the road from SFO. If Spyderco doesn’t mind me recording inside their store, I could do a quick walk through recording. It’s a very cool place to visit, but may not be the “Mecca” of Spyderco knives if that’s what you’re expecting. There’s only so much space and not every knife model is...

Re: Several Questions

1) Yes, it is.

2) It is to aid in opening the blade, and I believe the Round Hole is a trademark. I’ll speculate with regards to the trainers: All the holes will structurally weaken the blade so if one trains too aggressively, it will bend and not penetrate.

3) I don’t know. ;)

Re: What steel balances attributes best?

There's a reason so many knives come in CPM S30V/S35VN. It's pretty good at everything. I was thinking the same thing. For two kinds of steel that have been out in the wild for some time now, S30V and S35VN are right in the middle of the heap when you consider all the different attributes someone m...

Re: Seconds Sale 2020

You do know that NZ is probably the best place in the world right now to have the SECONDS SALE? :) And you're heading into Summer down there. ;) If there is a Seconds Sale in Golden next month, who knows what the weather will be like here. In about a week the forecast in this part of Colorado is fo...

Re: Kitchen knife nerds- why basic carbons?

Two of the kitchen knives I have that would probably compare head to head for blade profile and cutting ability would be the Itamae Petty (Super Blue) and the plain ol' 4.5" Utility Knife (MBS-26). I did have an issue with the Petty and trying to sharpen it. It seems that despite using the diamond, ...

Sprint Runs and Flash Batches are “discontinued” by design.

I carried the Bombshell yesterday.

Re: RIP Eddie Van Halen

Years ago I worked with a guy who as a kid would pile into the car on a Sunday afternoon with his parents and drive from the Valley to Pasadena to visit friends. Once they got there the kids would head out and play with the other neighborhood kids. Jim said he got to meet a couple of brothers in the...

Neighbor's TV Wants To Pair Up W/ My Phone Via Wi-fi

I was pairing up my Walker Silencer ear buds when I noticed a Samsung 7 (TV) wanted to pair up with my iPhone.

Should I pair them up, take a selfie and give them a glorious 55 inch shot of a full moon over the Rockies? :D

Wada think?

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

A couple of coworkers came to me last night with a piece of threaded nylon rod from one of our test fixtures. The end of the threaded stock was all chewed up and it wouldn't thread into a tapped hole. I used my AEB-L Urban to cut it off and square it up. I didn't want people to faint with a case of ...

Re: A Spyder With A "Sintered" Blade?

Technically, aren't PM steels sintered? They start out as a powder and under heat and pressure they're formed into a billet.

Re: Para 3 52100 CE

Thinking about it... SFO has them cheaper as well The SFO has both the Para 3 and the Para Military 2 in stock as of yesterday when I ran by there. My understanding is they were a distributor exclusive. I guess one difference between that and a Sprint Run is that the distributor can order more if t...
