Re: MT37P - AEB-L Mule Team Dropping Soon
Thanks for taking time to look into it at least, my billing information is correct and other ecomm vendors are taking my orders. Take care.

Re: MT37P - AEB-L Mule Team Dropping Soon
Oh looks like I did get a response in my spam folder, but not one that indicates any concern nor provides any useful information about what the issue might be. I haven't had any fraud on my account ever, I've purchased a mule from Spyderco before with this account, and my billing information works j...

Re: We don't actually need to Magnacut *all* the knives
I have several small fixed blades in Magnacut now and my experience with them suggests that it would be perfect as the default steel for pretty much any EDC folder. Very easy to sharpen and edge retention in real world situations is much better than the CATRA numbers would suggest unless you spend y...

Re: MT37P - AEB-L Mule Team Dropping Soon
Tried to buy two of these and got rejected by the fraud detector despite having purchased mules from the spyderco store in the past. no response from customer service for a couple of days, surprising to see this kind of experience coming from Spyderco.

Re: Why is the PM2 more popular when the Manix 2 is objectively better?
The big problem with the Manix 2 is that it kind of makes every other folding knife obsolete so a lot of people are not ready to accept just how excellent the design is and they prefer to spend their time with lesser knives

Re: Why is the Kapara so overlooked ?
I often ask myself this question, if it was in s90v it would probably be the best edc production knife on the market imo. It’s so, so good.

Re: What you don't like about spyderco knives?
Artificial scarcity around sprint runs is the only thing I really dislike about Spyderco. I think it’s distasteful to know you have thousands of people who will want a given model and then deliberately make a handful of them.

I really hope a decent number of these make it up here to Canadia, I'm gonna be choked if I miss out on this one.

Re: Yojumbo S90V carbon fiber
Got mine in today, disappointed to see the blade fully rubbing on one side of the handle out of the box. This is an expensive knife and I’m surprised to see there’s apparently nobody doing QA. The first run s30v version I got had a similar problem but it wasn’t fully resting on the handle in the clo...

Re: Can we talk about the Yo2's tip problem?
Ed tried to stab this yo2 through the skull of a pig. This is a really silly demo and a misuse of the knife, Ed is trying to sell a specific sort of secret agent fantasy that doesn't have much to do with the application the yo2 was designed for. I'd suggest that even if you were to repeat this test ...

Re: The odd thing about knife steel nerds
Two of the best things I've learned from Larrin: how good s30V is and how amazing s90V is. I always wondered why I wasn't blown away by other steels after 'upgrading' from s30v and it was really good to get clued in to how great s30V is. I've picked up a few s90V blades since then too and I'm so imp...

Re: Native Chief REX45 and S90V Sprint discussion and ANTICIPATION thread! (not alerts)
I just got my CF/S90V in today and I've very happy with it, super lightweight and excellent cutter. Very pleased to get a Golden model that is centered and has a symmetrical grind, none of the issues I've had with the last 4 or 5 Golden models. I hesitated for a bit because of the price but I'm real...

Re: Just put my last Spyderco in a Zipper bag ...
It is a shame that there's no interest in keeping repair kits around by Spyderco. This isn't some logistical impossibility, it's just a lack of will. Lots of companies that I have worked with have no problem keeping screw and other parts kits around for many more SKUs than Spyderco handles. I am a b...

Re: Spyderco MSRP Increase for 2021?
I used to buy 10+ Spydercos every year but reading this thread I’ve realized that I only bought the yojumbo this year. I keep putting knives in a cart and then I realize it’s two days pay after taxes and it just seems dumb for me to do it. My money is well managed and I can buy them if I want to but...
