Thanks guys.
The guy in the video I took that from had a heavy accent, I kept think he said "drop point" lol.

Re: About that food prep ...
My chaparral is a great knife for making fancy decorative food. I made an apple swan on easter lol.
Even my spydiechef can't replace my worst chef's knife in the kitchen though.

Re: Missing my Manix Salt
A manix in LC200N is probably my ideal one and done knife. I don't think I'd ever NEED another knife. I'd still buy more, though.

Re: The one that got away
I've been wanting a new knife, I'd had done all my research. Countless hours of ingesting reviews, looking for good prices, making sure this was the knife I wanted to spend my hard earned money on. I found the spydiechef, in stock, at a local dealer. Price was right. Just had to wait until today to...

Re: Finally got a Chap!
My sun and moon chap is my sliciest knife. It’s so small, yet it handles everything I need on a day to day basis. My action is really stiff though, doesn’t flick open, and won’t drop shut. I know this is the nature of the back lock, but Mine realllllly stiff. I’ve seen plenty videos of the FRN chap,...

Re: The one that got away
Not a knife, but I also missed out on a Seiko orange monster gen 2. They've quadrupled in price.

Buy a blurple PM2 now, or wait for the 2020 releases?
I have a chance to buy a brand new, in box PM2 blurple s110v for about $250 cad/190 usd.
I really want this knife, had it in my hand today. But I’d feel slighted if a better value version came out soon.
Any thoughts?

Re: SE for cutting CPVC
Could get a pvc pipecutter as well. Its a big ratcheted plain edge wedge that sort of works like shears. I own a pair, but my hand operated ones struggle on anything bigger than 1" CPVC. I can use them on 1 1/2", but they struggle, and no chance (for me anyways) of using my pair to cut 2&...

Re: SE for cutting CPVC
I'll look into some pipe cable saws! Didn't even know a tool like that existed. Thank you for recommendation.

Re: SE for cutting CPVC
Thank you for the warm welcome. I suppose a part of me just wants an excuse to buy another Spyderco! I've been using a smaller hacksaw in a pinch, but I still find it slightly cumbersome, and I have to go to my toolbag every time I need it. It'd be nice to have something light in my pocket that coul...

SE for cutting CPVC
Hi everyone, new to the forum, somewhat new to Spyderco. I deal with a lot of CPVC piping for work, I service fire protection sprinkler systems. My usual tool for cutting this pipe is a hackzall, but pipe hidden in ceilings sometimes doesn't have space for me to fit the hackzall in. There's also the...
