Re: Bark River Knives
It's an EXT-2 LT.
I like that's a little bit longer. Those LT ones are my favorites.

Re: Someone finally made contoured micarta scales for the Para 3
Not for me, it thanks. Got only one P3 left and this one already has micarta scales made by cuscadi. Price isn't everything. If I cannot afford it, I don't need it.

Since I wasn't aware of what reactions my words can cause, I edited my former comment and I encourage the other forumites citing me to do the same. I cannot tell exactly the source right now. My apologies. You should not have edited that. Everybody has the right to free speech and tell what you fee...

Re: K390: Seki vs Golden?
The fact that I didn't like the HT doesn't mean that the HT is bad, from a scientific or a knife enthusiast's point of view.

Re: K390: Seki vs Golden?
Honestly, I sold the Golden K390 (a Para 3 from BBS). I didn't like the steel, kind of 'soapy'. Hard to deburr.
In contrast the Seki K390 is my favorite steel, actually. It does everything better than the Golden HT. Maybe a bad batch.
This makes me feel a bit hesitant about the 15V...

Re: upgraded steels for less popular models
I've seen many, many, many more folks be adamantly brutal about the pricing of most Spyderco models being above and beyond their budgets anymore; so how do you propose to then raise the price further , by adding a more costly steel to a knife already in competition with a lesser costly variant that...

Re: Bark River Knives
Yes, DLT is great. I ordered a few times from them. The last time I ordered with FedEx fastest option on Wednesday 8 pm. On Friday 11 am, the knife was on my desk. If I had ordered from a dealer in Germany, it wouldn't have been here before Saturday afternoon, even with express shipping. Anyway, it'...

Quiet here lately... Here it is my new ULB. I'm sorry, my photographic skills are somewhat limited as I can take these pics only in the evening without daylight. https://i.postimg.cc/Cx9VctdW/IMG-20230112-234325.jpg I was looking for a fixed to do all the tasks that come up with children outside inc...

Re: Family friendly jokes
A 90y old man with Alzheimer's used to live next door to my apartment. Every day at 9 am he ringed the bell and asked, if I have seen his wife. So, every day, at 9 am, I had to explain to a 90y old man, that his wife had passed quite a while since. I thought about moving. I thought about not answeri...

Re: Suburban Survival: Options? Tools & Supplies?
If there was anything like a global or nationwide shtf scenario, then I really doubt that anyone's personal agricultural efforts will persist. Any idea of Little House on the Prairie seems to me like a romantisized one. Mad Max, passing by your farm, memories of his childhood flashing. His mother's ...

Re: USPS, UPS or Fedex ?
Last year I ordered a knife from DLT, shipping to Germany was FedEx the faster option. It was like (all Central European Summer Time): Wednesday 0830 pm press the 'buy' button, Wednesday 1000 pm parcel picked up by FedEx, Friday 1130 am parcel on my desk. 39 hours. That's ridiculous. If I had ordere...
