Re: KnifeJoker translucent manix2 lw

I was able to put a spare para 3 lw clip on this manix. I’m going back to the original clip because the para 3 clip puts the clip pressure in a higher spot on the scale where it isn’t smooth. Meaning that it’s now a pocket destroyer…

Re: KnifeJoker translucent manix2 lw

You’re welcome. I don’t understand the non deep carry wire clip , this feels like an excellent remedy. I am really surprised by how much this knife is connecting with me. I didn’t have a great experience with my s110v model when I had it. It’s action was far too tight and back then I didn’t ever me...

Re: KnifeJoker translucent manix2 lw

My knife came in today. I was worried a bit based on some reports here, but luckily it flicks opens perfectly, drops shut, is centered, and has no blade play.

This is a nice lightweight knife. Thanks Knife Joker for doing this for us!!!

Just this last week people here were justifying buying knives on Amazon. Not shocking.

Re: LiL native s90v ?????

Any word on the lil native s90v drop dates ?? Backlock or compression? Don't remember seeing that announcement. . Sadly, it's a compression lock no back lock . . . IMO compression locks don't belong on knives that small, but there are lot's of folks that like the Lil' Native CL so just hang in ther...

Re: Reveal 8 Released!

I suspect that covid has been a disaster for the golden factory. Every folding knife in this release is foreign made. Perhaps Spyderco has hesitation to take on more golden made knives or sprints until it can catch up with the backlog of prior releases and exclusives.

As I was saying on another thread, this is totally the "Serrated Release" -- I love it!
I think of this as more of a back lock and Chinese frame lock release.

My wallet rejoices. Not much at all in this reveal for me, but I’m sure there are a lot of exciting knives for others.

Is it just me, or has there been an abundance of 20CV exclusives this year?

Nonetheless, this is pretty cool, and a much better deal than the cruwear version.
Yep. A much better deal. I got burned on that CF cruwear trash can knife.

Re: New DLT Exclusive Dragonfly - Satin 20CV & zome red/black

I saw this and my complete dissatisfaction and frustration with the CF cruwear disaster of a dragonfly was renewed. Out of sight, out of mind until I saw this.

This should be a great little knife. The 20cv blade has my attention more than the zome handle however.

Re: The Best Knife Website

There’s so many good retailers that it’s easier to classify the bad or marginal sellers. I won’t buy from BHQ anymore and I try to avoid SMKW. BHQ had/has? serious website security issues, they seem to have extremely slow drop shipping from Virginia, they closed their storefront in Utah long ago, se...

Re: Spyderco shopping on Amazon - experiences

Some legitimate sellers sell through Amazon. So I consider buying through Amazon but only if it’s a seller I know. (Check the sold by and fulfilled by sections of the listing) I may be wrong but I think DLT trading does or at least used to sell through Amazon. DLT is awesome but this is a false ass...

Re: Spyderco shopping on Amazon - experiences

I've had issues with getting "older" models from Amazon. For example, I ordered a Salt series knife that I would have expected to have the coated hardware as shown in the pictures, but I received an older version that had the non-coated hardware. I also ordered a UKPK that should have been the drop...

Re: Spyderco shopping on Amazon - experiences

I’ve had an Amazon account for almost 20 years now and have spent tens of thousands over the years. You can download a .csv of ALL your purchases from your account - it’s eye opening... In the last 5 years Amazon has gone downhill quite drastically. It seems that everything is a knock-off of somethi...

Re: Janisong disassembled

Mike,
Do you think we might ever see another iteration of the Janisong or perhaps a US made model? The Janisong is a really nice knife and such a unique design, it’s a shame that all knife geeks aren’t able to enjoy your design.
