Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?
I'm still hoping the Sage6 will be a button lock or CBBL, as long as it doesn't require expanding the body of the knife like the Sage3. In the meantime I'll continue to lobby for a Sage2 reboot like the Sage1 got :) Hi Abbazaba, You keep on nagging. I'll keep on watching. If we did another run, we'...

Re: Yojumbo M4
I bought one that is going back immediately.
Poor opening and very tight closing action, offside blade, and blade wiggle.
Sadly It’s nowhere near the quality of the s90v yojumbo I have.

Re: Any news on the Kapara slipjoint?
I outgrew slip joints when I left Boy Scouts and I really have no need or desire for a slip joint knife. The Kapara is such a nice design that I may consider overlooking the undesirable ship joint factor if this is made… I’ll have to see it before I’m sold on it though..

Re: New Manix 2 with Uneven Bevel
Uneven bevels are very common. It’s frustrating but at this point I just accept that buying a spyderco knife means I have to be ok with their quirks - and this is one of them unfortunately.

Re: Q Ball fix
The Q ball is an excellent knife design, in fact one of my favorites. But the lock design is horrendously implemented, I mean on a scale of 1-10 (10 being worst) it’s a 25. I’ll go as far to say that it is the worst knife spyderco has ever sold based solely on the lock being beyond terrible. I’d buy...

Thanks for this information. I wasn’t able to get one and the secondary market is astronomically sad, so this is really encouraging news.

Re: M4 Yojumbo
WTF ???? I thought for sure that would move fast 😎 This is entirely unsurprising. People are broke, overextended, and/or scared of the economy. Knives definitely don’t move as fast as they used to and the constant price increases have buyer sentiment low. I interact with a lot of knife/gun leo peop...

Re: OG Military Replacement
Regular use for me turns s110v into a jagged edge. I can’t recommend the steel to anyone who wouldn’t baby the knife and doesn’t have a knife sharpener.

Re: So about the Kahr Delica type/shape?
I have a Janich 2.5” regrind. It’s a great knife. If you’re looking for one 5x5 sells them and you can throw any scales on there to make it to your liking.

Re: Mystery Box
I'm a pretty empathetic guy, but I can't muster the tiniest fraction of an ounce of sympathy for people complaining about these MYSTERY (hello!!!??? :zany ) boxes on the internet. I get the desire to gamble and couldn't care less how other people spend their money.. cool if it pays off for someone ...

Re: Mystery Box
ETA comes in tomorrow. Maybe a CF Subvert as a premium box. Let's not mix up the two mystery boxes offering $250 and $400. The $250 mystery box could most likely contain sprint runs. The $400 mystery box could contain premium releases. Paysan, CF Subvert, CF Spyopera, Drunken, and etc. From what I ...

Re: A Gayle Bradley 2 in Cruwear!
Both knives arrived but I’ll be sending one back. One of them was heat sealed in plastic (with desiccant) and inside bubble wrap in the box. I sliced open the heat sealed plastic package and it was brand new untouched as one would expect. The other was just sitting in the box. No sealed plastic. No ...

Vanax and textured micarta or peel ply. Lc200n or h2 could work also.

Re: Janisong not available in US?
The janisong is such a cool knife. My only gripe is that disassembly is an absolute frustrating nightmare if you don’t notice the offset lobes of the pins when you go to put it back together. With that understanding it goes back together in minutes.

Self inflicted accidental neck knife death - how is a spyderco safer than others?
There are not many details here but a man died in the Boston area from his own neck knife. I’ve always considered them on the edge of a one in a million chance bad accident. This story seems to lend support to that thought in the back of my mind that’s kept me away from neck knives of all sorts. How...
