Re: Reveal 7 Live!

Thanks for the neat knives, Spyderco. This reveal felt like a “lite” version compared to recent reveals, but it was very heavy on substance. I’m excited.

I bet if you privately asked a US based member that they could be willing to help you out. People are generally good about helping others in difficult situations.

I can’t comment on the purpose, but solely that it ISN’T s30v, I already like it.

Is this a purely aesthetic feature? I’m searching for the utility of such a blade shape and can’t figure it out.

Re: Poll for alternating annual seconds sales between online and in-person

I'm not sure the online sale is an equitable way to do it either. Some people are reporting multiple purchases of 10+ knives and I've been kicked out of an order after putting in my credit card info multiple times. At least standing in line outside I got a chance to buy something. This is a good po...

It was a wild and enjoyable ride that they didn't have to do this year - but they still did it. THANK YOU FOR THE ONLINE SECONDS SALE THIS YEAR SPYDERCO! 2020 just became more memorable.

I got mine some days ago - after 8 months of shipping.
The knife is perfect. Nice color combo with that bright orange.

Re: Abnormal? Autonomy 2 button wear

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had exceptional service with spyderco but for whatever reason they didn’t want to look at the part. It would have been nice to know if what I’m experiencing is in the range of normal or not. That gritty feeling you describe is similar to what I experienced. You could add som...

Re: Abnormal? Autonomy 2 button wear

I spoke to the warranty dept person on the phone and explained my being local, and asked if I could bring in just the button for evaluation. I was told it was ok to do so, but when I arrived the next day I was told that they wouldn’t look at it. It was sort of frustrating so I returned home without ...

Re: 2020 Seconds Sale - BREAKING NEWS

I’m sort of conflicted here. The in person seconds sale is “in person” so that you can see, handle, feel, and judge a knife that Spyderco has deemed unacceptable yet functional. Defects are not just cosmetic, there have been MANY desirable knives and sprints that I’ve passed on at the seconds sale b...

Re: SFO virtual tour - please!

Quick and simple walkthrough of the SFO. I’ve heard a salt knife is inside the fish tank but since I’ve never actually looked in there to verify, I pretty much skipped over it.

Re: SFO virtual tour - please!

Work projects have delayed me on getting to SFO, but I was able to make it over there today. As usual Spyderco’s employees were top notch and I was able to get some video in the morning without the store being busy as it typically is. I have a video walkthrough of the store and another video (and pi...
