Re: Tanto PM2 Support Thread

I suppose recent global-scale challenges will set this back a bit. Many thanks to all the Spyderco employees who are still working in this tough time.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Crazy Good Deal only in the relative sense, but Rex 45 Manix 2's have started showing up on eBay in the $150's... better get 'em while they're hot. (Right after I payed $176 for one... oh well) No offense towards you. That's not even close to a good deal and only reinforces flippers to buy up more ...

Re: Trusted knife trading services?

Even worse, long time "trusted members" on forums that allow only paid members to sell can suddenly go off the rails and burn you. Worse yet, if you're "the noob" and suggest you've been burned by them, other members will inevitably rush to their defense and paint you as a liar. They'll often get a...

AR15.com equipment exchange is another good source. It's not as high volume as other places, however scammers tend to not be as prevalent.

Yeah it came that way, has Sal's signature too, unlike previous iterations. https://i.imgur.com/YeoIJMh.jpg As far as the bill boarding goes, the limited nature doesn't change the big *** letters on the side. They're ugly to me personally. Not for everyone though. Did you ever end up putting that b...

I'm not apt to be flattered by either a scammer or a picture thief. You may want to report the auction before someone loses their hard earned money.

Re: Dragonfly black hardware?

Ruins it for me. Such a great color combo and then you put a bumper sticker on it. Right out of the box I'd have taken a sharpie to it. I'm holding out hope the color combo will come back in a Delica or Para 3 LW. Agreed. It's a beautiful knife with an unaesthetic "bumper sticker" on it. I suspect ...

Re: Carbon Fiber Autonomy 2 (in Sal's pocket)

Rather have it on the Autonomy 1 but it certainly has my attention. Wouldn't pass up a PE Autonomy 2 with CF scales in just about any decently stainless steel, but I'd be all over a PE Autonomy with a FFG LC200N or S30V blade and CF scales. :D Yes....Autonomy 1 with FFG LC200N I am all over it, I'l...

A neutered knife is the best knife? No way. Today I won't even consider buying pocket knives without a lock because they'd never end up in my pocket.

The best knife is something gets used.

I really like this idea, but please no yellow scales.
Yellow or even white is the best. A little RIT dye and you can have anything you want. I have so many Salts and only one is still yellow.
Good point.

I see the biggest knife sins in the kitchen usually.

Pull through carbide sharpeners.

Putting knives in the dishwasher.

I'll add that when I was visiting the SFO on 2/27 all the employees were in the atrium having a meeting to discuss corona virus. I haven't said anything publicly because I didn't want that info to negatively affect anyone's company, but now that we are where we're at, I'll say that I'm happy that Sp...
