Re: New Steel Testing Method! My wife and the cupboard.

That was the one rule that I requested be implemented in the testing. No prying. My heart couldn't take it. Now saying that, I did just break the teeny tiny very utmost tip off my Para 3 trying to get furniture staples out. It was squished into the wood and nothing I had was as pointy. To the MNOSD...

I am gone a few days and now you speak of safety pins!? Speaking of a topic on the main page thread… “which Spyderco would you be buried with?” would you be buried with your safety pin?! Is it special enough!?

Re: Buried with Spyderco

I figure a N5 salt would be my go to for a coffin knife. I’d say a Spyder thrower… but I think I read they were being disco-ed this year… I never got around to buying one… but for death, a throwing knife would maybe keep the reaper off me for a second or two…?

The 90’s bud K knife magazine days are over. I think guns and knife jewelry is all the rage? I am guilty of a little knife jewelry myself.

Maybe knife stigmas are high enough that the SD guys just teach mace spray?

Re: SE MagnaCut Testing Thread

Had a full week fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, 2 wks ago. Cut up a bit of bait and everything else needed to cut on vacation. Just sharpened it back up today. Magnacut and LC200N are on par for not rusting in salt water for my uses… didn’t wash the Magnacut knife out too well. Only shrimp guts seeme...

Re: MagnaCut Corrosion Resistance testing thread

Just spent a week in the Gulf of Mexico with the N5 in magnacut. Kayak fished all around. If anything is gonna rust a knife, it’s Southwest Florida. I had a little rust where I cut shrimp up for smaller pieces of bait… put the knife under the sink and rust was gone. This steel handled just as good a...

Welp, Just finished watching John Wick 3 the other day. I notice when given a choice he rolls with a microtech auto…

Lots of judo throws in these movies!

I still think retired John Wick would enjoy a pencil… err… JanDelica!

Wick has used a OTF and a pencil 😁, if my brain cells are correct . Blacked out Autonomy and a Street Beat small version is a rough guess on my part . Kevin , I like your choice too , Jandura is stellar. Dan

If John Wick carried a spydie?

Hi all, come and waste a brain cell with me. I’m just having a budlight and watching John Wick while the wife is hanging out with the neighborhood ladies. From my knowledge John Wick doesn’t rock a Spyderco. If John Wick carried a Spyderco, which Spyderco would it be and why? I consider him a purpos...

He is more of a Mark Rothko type of guy. 😜
You guys have good taste.

PS every time I look at a window shade on a sunny day I think of Mark Rothko and chuckle.
A window shade is a good place to find a Rothko! The weeds growing in my back yard are the stuff of Pollock!
