Re: Ikuchi

Got mine today. Drops shut. Works great. Does wear on your finger though if you open and close it too much. Rolling it open with your thumb is the best way to not give yourself a blister.

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run

I don't care about steel, but want a shiny blade just like the run that was so successful. You can already buy stonewashed or DLC blades by default.

Happy for those that got one.

I seem to have missed out unless I get lucky with BladeHQ.

Re: What models would you like to see with the side button compression lock like the Smock

I just don't get why some people are so against it. I have heard some say the lock may be disengaged by accident. Other than that, it seems like a straight upgrade to me. I would like to see it on PM2(Already exists with PM2 Ultra) and Shaman(Not sure it will work with current blade shape). I don't ...

I love compression locks and would buy one for sure.

The sage 5 is pretty much the same knife though.

One in stock at Country Knives... for $320. I REALLY want this knife, but I refuse to pay above the retail price.
Agreed. I love it, but I would rather buy something else if I am going to have to pay $100 over retail.

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Hey everyone it's been a long time, Having watched all the hype from a distance I think it is time to commentate. I remember early on in my forum days I was ecstatic about my DLC Shaman, but at the time the model was not "well received". For pretty much the reasons people stated here: &qu...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

http://www.bentoboxshop.com/images/PE_Brown_Micarta_Shaman.jpg Bento still has them for $320. Ship Nov 1st. I guess most people don't like overpaying by around $100 as they sure are not selling out in seconds as other places did. BBS doesn't still have them. They had them and they sold out even wit...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

If a push-button can be implemented without any compromise compared to a standard compression lock tab, pretty sure most people would see that as an upgrade. The only issue I can see is you need to make room for it in your design. That is why the smock has the large blade choil. As someone already ...

Re: SMOCK!! Drop the Mike!

The largest complaint about the smock seems to be the choil.

I don't have an issue with it myself and love the knife. My most carried knife for sure.

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Also depends if they actually do a PM and Shaman ultra version with push-button instead of a standard compression lock. I hope they are seriously looking into this, as the PM2 ultra for sale with push-button mod is amazing. And of course, the smock is my favorite fidget knife. Did I miss something?...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Hi Leader2light, Th push button release used on the Smock was part of our original patent on the Compression lock along with several other release method. I opted for the current, and simplest, release for safety reasons. We'll watch the Smock model for a while. I know that it's a good "fidget...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

A couple years from now, do you think these Cruwear Micarta Shamans will be selling for more, or less, or about the same as the current mark-up range of $300-$400??? CG Depends A LOT on how many other runs of Crucarta Shaman are built. Also depends if they actually do a PM and Shaman ultra version ...
